That scheduling was shocking for Phelps. Does the 200IM and then 10-15 mins later has to go race through a 100m butterfly.

To be fair to the schedule ppl, they schedule event pretty normally. It's not their fault Phelps is a complete freak and swims in every event and wins everything anyways.

As for the pool, we've been a giant disappointment again.

Just to clarify we had the current world champion in lane two and the world record holder in lane four.

No medals. That's fairly shit.

Although we've been disappointing in the pool, it is better than London. London was horrible.

Rio so far we have tripled our golds.

Not sure what events are still to come and if we are a chance to add medals to the total. More golds this time but less overall medals. Either way you look at it, we've been shit in the pool for near on a decade now. You have to back to Beijing, Athens and Sydney for a really good period.

Beijing - 6G, 6S, 8B - 20 total.
Athens - 7G, 5S, 3B - 15 total.
Sydney - 5G, 9S, 4B - 18 total.

Looking at that, the last two Olympics in the pool have been huge disappointments.

Shattered for Cate and Bronte in the 100m, but thats short swims for you, small slip up and its over. Has happened to plenty of our short distance swimmers we've built up.

Hopefully the girls take a medal home in the 50m, both Qualify for the final.
