Why have Australia dropped down the ranking at Olympics? Back in the 90s and 00s we used to marvel at how well you did for such a small nation. Do you not get enough funding? Do you get funding from a national lottery?

No doubting he's a brilliant athlete, he just seems an absolutely shit guy. Really disappointing, especially as the poor Korean bloke ended up having to be taken to hospital on a stretcher. All he cared about was him getting his silver medal ha.

Yeah I didnt rate that, completely takes a bloke out of the race, gets no penalty, the poor Korean bloke ends up in hospital and then the English bloke is rewarded with a Silver Medal.

Lol they're not all on the juice. With historic testing now available, they're not going to be stupid enough to be doping even if they could conceivably get away with it for now. GB is leading cycling because of the advances we have made in the technology and science of the sport, which is far ahead of other countries.

Perhaps but the juice is rife in cycling. Wouldnt be surprised if the Brits were on it as much as the Aussies or the French or the Germans or whatever.

Bring back some grit and determination by showing that we aren't just happy with competing. We are no longer a sporting nation really.

Rugby league dominant but not as big a gap as there used to be

Rugby union we are bog average

Soccer we are the best of an ordinary continent

Swimming we are just ok

Cycling we aren't close to best anymore

Cricket flat track bullies

Rowing see cycling

Even sports like beach volleyball didn't we win gold in that when it first came in? And the long distance swims?

It's truly a farce
