Southampton always do it to me. Offer 20m for Morgs but want me to pay 35% of his weekly wage.
Probably have a 60m sale to Southampton B lined up ;)

This is true for all clubs at the moment.
Definitely. And seems to be heading further and further in that direction.

Said for a while, supporters need to unite in this. Take the game back if you like

Yep, it's becoming a huge problem but the clubs wont go backwards, as match day revenue is huge. I watched a few videos on YouTube, the Whiteboard Football series and in one they broke down United v Burnley money and the divide between the two.

United made over 90 million a year on Matchday revenue. That's a lot of money. Obviously other big clubs make huge sums aswell. So the clubs arent gonna go backwards with their pricing unfortunately.

It's a double edged sword too. If clubs drop prices and bring back locals to football, whilst great, it then means less money coming in which in turn means they cant buy that player they want which in turn means shitter players which in turn means, shitter results, which in turn means relegation.

Football is just ruled by money now. Not sure there is much we can do about it.

4 game ban for Wenger.

Can't complain too much, but for us and the rest of the competition, him missing the Chelsea match is huge.

I'm not sure it will have much of an impact tbh. He isn't the most animated manager on the sidelines (unlike Conte or Klopp) and his substitutions often seem pre-planned anyway. At least we won't have to hear the commentators going on about his zip for the billionth time.

Chelsea will hammer arsenal with or without wengers presence. Makes no difference at all

Buffon just ahead of Schmichael. Probably because I watched more of him and tend to rate 2000-2017 higher than those early EPL years.

Buffon is the best keeper in 50 years.

Until a GK wins a Ballon d'Or and saves 152 penalties, Lev Rashin is still the GOAT goal keeper though.
Yashin.

Buffon turned 39 today.

Where does he rate for people?

Is the GOAT (of the modern era anyway, definitely top 5 at the very least)? If not, who is above him?
Buffon is the best keeper of all for me. He's still in the top 3 of keepers currently at his age. He's phenomenal.

It should also be mentioned that he was a one club man that had a seriously ridiculous clean sheet record for his career.

He also wasn't exactly playing for a club that dominated the league season in, season out back then either, the Soviet league was very competitive back then too.

Speaking of Goalkeepers, I'd like to think that Leicester contributed 2 of the best 10 keepers of all time as well.
