I remember watching Batman reruns as a kid and more recently bought the boxset to watch with my kid who also loves it, if you like batman and have never heard Adam West speak there are some great podcast interviews out there.

Adam West, the US actor best known as the star of the 1960s hit TV series Batman, has died aged 88.

West died peacefully in Los Angeles after a "short but brave battle" with leukaemia, a family spokesperson said.

Very sad news. I grew up with the show.

He was typecast by the role but eventually came to embrace the character.

Everything I read about him indicated he was a true gentleman and all class.

RIP to my favourite Batman.
