Yeah...I think its where anytime fitness is now. Does anybody remember the Woolworths that was separate to the shops for no reason :p.

Yeah I think I remember it. Was a dodgy independent arcade wasn't it?

I remember the old Woollies too. Just a supermarket to itself with no other shops around. Weird.

The old Armadale Shopping City was great. Had that big ramp part from the undercover carpark to up near K-Mart and a big empty space in the middle that was rarely used for anything. Back in the day Action Food Barn used to have cheap produce of decent quality. And Puffin Fresh Donuts used to sell whole trays for $5.

I remember Innaloo shops when it was just like a little local shopping centre, open air with brick paving throughout.

Who's winning the 'biggest shopping centre in Perth' comp at the moment anyway? Still Joondalup? Garden City has plans to more than double in size but that's not even under way yet.
The recently scrapped the rules limiting the size of them, so at the moment I think those mentioned were all close to the max. The resize plans will make some of them a fair bit bigger again.

Puffin Fresh Donut trays, thanks for that blast from highschool.:thumbsu:

Yeah I can remember it too, it used to have a Worths store there where we'd get school clothes from.

I think they are still a thing. Been a while since I went there, though.
Long long time since there was the one near me. Dont mind a dreamy donut from Garden City, but they are a bit pricier these days.

Fierce hosing starting to take place

I have vague memories of a pub/bar at garden city or something similar.

Would have gone years before the BP was removed
Booragoon Hotel

Booragoon hotel - used to do a good meal. Had a playground in the middle of it and a Little Person who was supposed to entertain the kids but in reality was a grumpy old fart

There was a hotel out the corner where the Busstation is now.

I generally take trains to get around the city, and the most nervy I've ever felt was at Midland station, never seen so many shady, dodgy characters in one area anywhere else in Perth.

What is this 'Lost Perth' now? Next you'll be going on about that UFO down in Willeton and Freezer Icy poles like that boring old prick on facebook.

It's 'bad' if you have a **** off we're full sticker on your car and finds multiculturalism as an affront to god.
