These young fellas today will never get the experience of some the real rough and tumble old school pubs from the 70's, 80's and even 90's.

Up my way was the Castle hotel in North Beach or even the old Mullaloo pub with the affectionately known animal bar.

The Castle was a ****en zoo.

I remember a fight there when a guy was literally scalped after been hit over the head with a jug.

Some old pissed fella, who was bald, picked up what fell off the other guys head, put it on his head and walked off.

All the sustainability students at Murdoch are probably posting away on their iPhones about how inconvenient it is that they can't use their Macbooks. Wind power would never lead to an outage of several hours once!
