As someone that works with people suffering all sorts of mental illness, I see it as something similar when people say they are suffering depression. Such a throw away line, when what they really mean is they are sad. Sad is a genuine emotion and lots of events cause one to be sad. Unfortunately lots of people will say they have depression instead of being sad. Really takes away from the ones that really are depressed.

$3k would represent what.... 2 days' income? Do the course; advertise in the local paper for domestic or whatever work you're chasing (do research and slightly undercut the opposition, maybe offer no call out fee [build it in your rate] or some such sweetener) and you'll get it back in no time.

He didn't know a single person over there besides one of his mates that went over earlier. He simply contacted builders while still here and lined up a bunch of work. He's not all that flash a brickie either tbh.

I didn't think they had confirmed one way or another about the shark caught off Falcon. AFAIK the shark bit and released so there might not be a lot of evidence to give a definite answer straight away.

There's always plenty of them passing by but 4.2m is a big bloody shark in so close to shore.
