1. A huge weights programme to build strength and bulk.
2. Learn to tackle from NRL experts. Become one of the best tackling teams in the league.
3. a whole new game plan. Tell 'em when they get the ball to kick it long to a contest and trust our players to win the ball or lock it in. Tell 'em to stop going backwards, sideways, and stuffing around with the ball.
4. Play man on man, hard nosed footy like their lives depended on it.
5. Play with the ferocious spirit of the Tiger's of old!

It's a simple plan, but it's better than our current rubbish which will never, NEVER, get us anywhere.

Eat 'em Alive Tigers.

The sad thing is, you get taught this in under 13's.

I really think we are over complicating the game.

Just be hard at the ball, protect you mate and give 100%. The skill is there so it should just fall into place.

I was thinking the other night... i was off my face, but do you guys think an NRL player would be good in AFL? I beleive so, especially as a strong midfielder. They are strong, tough, fast and pretty hard in the tackles. Teach them to learn how to mark and kick properly, i think they would be quite the pick up. Does anyone agree? or am i missing something?

I've played Union, League, Soccer and AFL. AFL is by far the hardest. League players would have to learn how to crumb, hand pass, kick and mark...... not easy.

If the other way round, then an AFL player would only need to learn the rules. They have all the other skills.
