So I went to pre-order the indigenous guernsey online and had a couple issues:
1. There's no option for sublimated numbers and the unique numbers for this guernsey are far too good to not have the option of buying
2. It's $125 + $10 shipping so $135 all up or $122.50 if you're a member. Given the ramping up of merchandising, it's disingenuous to provide a 10% discount only to slug the consumer 2005 shipping prices. It's 2017 and the number of items PAFC sells online should give it the purchasing power to negotiate much more competitive rates for packaging and mail-out.
pal. i'll dot paint it with liquid paper for you for free if you get those Ports hats doneI'm not buying a retail version purely because the dotted numbers won't be available.
I'll wait for the possible PI/inevitable eBay auctions.
We are on the absolute cutting edge of using numbers as a design feature to differentiate ourselves and I love it.

You get a girl working behind the Port Store counter to get you one before the fire-sale of the sublimated Player Issue guernseys the day before they're available to the public. How the bloody hell do you order a gurnsey with a number?!
It's 2017 isn't it?! What is this?! It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous. You get a girl working behind the Port Store counter to get you one before the fire-sale of the sublimated Player Issue guernseys the day before they're available to the public.

If my memory serves and I'm 100 these days so it probably doesn't but some guy on facebook got in touch with ISC and asked them what font they used for our 1997 heritage kit worn in Round 1 last year and Jax were able to make iron-ons to look exactly like the real thing.
I'm sure they could eventually do the same for these numbers?
& in other news apparently the port store won't be doing a limited run of long sleeve guernseys. This is how it made me feelQuick Ports cap update.
I followed up Elly last week but still didn't get a response. She could be on leave or ignoring me or maybe there is no Elly and I was given a bullshit email address, who knows?! So I've cast my net a bit wider and forwarded it through to General Enquiries, so hopefully they can redirect it to someone who can give me an answer.
So we'll wait and see but if that fails too I say f@#k it, time to go rogue!
