The thing is now,
we are good enough to take control of games,
we just haven't worked out how to do ilt

Bit of polish, and some killer instinct,
and we are right up there

Not sure if we can buy that sort of stuff,
but we certainly have the ticker.

Kenoath :thumbsu:

Went to the game today,
and it was hard to watch,
'cos in bursts here and there,
we owned the game,
but just couldn't put it on the board.

I reckon our last 5-6-7 scoring shots were points,
and we were coming at them like hell.

But by-jesus we put some genuine pressure on them,
something we have lacked for a Pagan or two.

3.6 to 1.2 - ridiculous. Blues fans seemed to be making a fair bit of noise in the crowd.

The positive for me is once upon a not very long time ago a game with that type of skill level and the amount of mistakes in which we made would of seen us the best part of 100 points behind, the fact that we were still in the contest right to the end shows that the Ratten influence of just going about your business and giving it all is rubbing off on most of our players. I can remember Geelong had frustrating games like these with all there youngsters early on before really gelling and taking the league by storm.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

My thoughts exactly.

Once we take out that one quarter where we seem to fade, we will win more cinsistently, and our strong finishes will see us bury some sides.:thumbsu:
