I'm a gun cricketer.

When they ask who, you can do the whole "don't you know who I am?" routine before informing them that you scored "like i dunno, three centuries."

Did not expect 70 bills per lid.

How are you posting them? Registered express with insurance???

That's $41.47 AUD

The NE hats at the port store are 65 dollars delivered (express) or 60 (standard). Considering we aren't a corporate entity and this is a limited run, 70 bucks is superb imo. It's 75 bucks if you want to deliver outside of Australia from the Port Store for what it's worth.

As if whinge about the price of a once off run of hats with the logistics being put together by one bloke on a japanese underwater basketweaving forum.

I met Pappagallo once and he was really shady and wore cargo shorts, the army sort. I don't trust him.

Were you frightened by the sight of a floating torso?

That's getting the batch to Australia. The $70 includes mailing the hat to each individual.

The prices above are also USD, are they not?

Which makes it approx $42 hence why I asked how it was getting posted. Even with 5% to cover currency variation and $16 for platinum post satchels makes it $60.

How did you come up with the price Fappagallo?
The price was influenced by three main factors. The biggest cost is the amount charged by Top It Off, which equates to approximately $45-$50 AUD per cap including delivery to Australia. The order must paid in USD so the exact per unit cost is a bit variable due to the exchange rate. The other main variable here is the local postage cost, which is dependent on package weight and delivery address, but this should be approximately $10-$15. And finally I have added a buffer amount of approximately $5-$10 to cover myself for any unforeseen costs and to ensure that I'm not personally out of pocket.

Hey DarthPower,

There are a couple of things that bump up the price you've calculated. Firstly the price in the table above is for a single logo cap but our design has two logos (Ports front, 1870 back), which is an extra $2 USD per hat. Also the exchange rate applied by the bank on transactions is not as kind as the one you get from Google, so currently the cost of getting the caps to Australia is just over $46 AUD.

As I said in the OP I have purposely overestimated the overall costs by $5-$10 to make sure that I'm not personally out of pocket, as we've seen tonight some things are unforeseen! Any money leftover is going to charity too.

Well assuming we can get them made of course.
