I feel like I might cop it for posing this question, but what do the GD board think about mums wearing a crop top and booty shorts at school pick up?

Do all kids get driven to school I rode my bike or walked.

Every mum and dad try to get a prime parking spot so little johny doesn't have to walk more than five metres .

I got driven everyday.

The occasional catch the bus when I was in VCE. But not many times.

*was dropped off across the road at a side street. Walked over the overpass. Drop offs were never stressful whatsoever.

Even folded the back seats down.

I mean that sort of get up is pretty common in public in general these days. I think it's a tad inappropriate, I mentioned it to my wife expecting to cop the "are you trying to police what women wear" or something similar, but she agreed with me.

Maybe said woman thinks a Megadeth tshirt and trackies is an inappropriate outfit to school pickup ha ha

I agree it's pretty common.

I've seen quiet a few young woman wear light white skit or pants and a dark G.
We were I think Newcastle near nobby a couple were walking in front of us.
Mrs R goes what was she thinking ...I just say It seems common.

But woman have way more choices than us blokes.
No I don't wanna wear whites pants and a G .

But in sports were addias tops and jackets etc way better choices.
My tie die top I wore yesterday is women's.
The cashier said before I paid you know it's girls right. .
I'm like I'm fine with that..just a beach top.

A lot better now thank you!

Had a rough patch until about a month ago, set my sights on losing 5kg ahead of competing again in May (always watercut into comp which isn’t ideal) and I’ve lost about 3.5kg in a month, so will take that!

Still not sleeping great, but outside of that I am doing much better!

I got chucked on a bus when I was 4 and going to kinder. On my first day the school put me on the wrong bus going home. Mum waited at the bus stop and I didn't show.

Been out in the garage cleaning up.
Fook it's crazy how much things you find and keep and stuff you accumulated over the years.
Found a TDK tape ,loads of cricket books,heaps of empty plant pots etc.

Even one-day cricket game the one with the batter and bowler and fielders don't know why it's called one-day they all in white.
How much is it worth if I put it on FM market place ?

I don't think I ever got it tho just threatened with it. Got smacked with the hand a few times tho

I used laugh at the wooden spoon the harder I was smacked the louder the laugh .

Anyone else struggle to call in sick?
Many people I know will happily throw 4-5 sickies a year.

I’ve had 3 sick days in the last 4 years, and they were back to back because I genuinely had Influenza A. I’ve been at my current job for 12 months and haven’t used any personal leave. Outside of that, I very rarely get sick.

Friends and family tell me to take mental health days to use them up because you can’t take them with you, but I can’t do it, feel too guilty.

maybe tell the boss you have to go to the dr on a certain date and you will need a couple of days off
if they do ask, which tech they shouldnt really, just say its nothing serious
then just pick a time you want off maybe a couple 4 day weekends thru out the year and get an online cert.

I just looked at my payslip. I have 221 days of sick/personal leave.
44 weeks.
Guess should I need extended time off for illness i am set.
I do have income protection insurance through my super but i think before they pay you need to exhaust all your own leave (?). Maybe i should extend that period in my super and drop my premium.

Something to look into

we have IP thru work who would get it thru some other mob and its a 14 day wait.
so just need two weeks of some type of leave to use
