We get our outside sprayed for bugs I think it’s around $200 and it definitely works however I’ve had some last only worked for about 6 months compared to the 12 months they claim.
6 months free of ants I'd take at the moment. Sick of the little ****ers, found them in my bed this morning. Centipedes and Ants in the last week. Must be some rain coming

Anyone else’s eldest child really struggle when their younger sibling started school? I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not. My grade 2 has been crying every morning at drop off and I had to pick him up early on Friday. He’s normally quite a confident kid and he likes his new teacher so I’m at a loss. It’s breaking my heart to see him so upset.

coincidence is my guess (I was the same age gap), think that Year 2 can be a learning curve for one’s consciousness in personally negotiating the world and problem-solving, combined with some back2schoolitis that will hopefully pass very soon

When tradies come to your place, do you lock your dog up or let 'em roam free?

Our old dog was pretty chill so she was fine to roam free. This one is a ball of energy so locked up.

I guess it also depends on what they are there to do and how dangerous it would be to have the dog roaming around.

Thanks everyone, I always lock my dog up (he's a big staffy x border collie x great dane) but they always tell me to let him free so I wondered if I was being over cautious.

Next question: if you text your boss to call in sick for walk, what sort of response do you expect from them?

A "thanks for letting me know and/or get better soon" and nothing else.

No worries, look after yourself.

But my boss lacks some social skills. So she wouldn't reply.

Hmm I got a text at 6.55am yesterday from someone calling in sick. I responded “no worries” and they got offended I didn’t show more care.
I can see both sides.

They're probably being a bit precious, but I understand why they would maybe want to receive a little more.

I would have replied, "Enjoy the Super Bowl!".

That's the reply I got from my boss anyway.
