no chips for me (IMO the most overrated food in the western world. so bland)

i only ever get a chicken burger

i'm generally a reasonably good eater but i could be better and i wanna set some targets for the next 12 months in terms of my eating. i.e. only 20 fast food meals in a year, but i would probably have to reconsider that figure if the local burger shop was considered fast food - it should also be noted i would like to keep an eye on them too.

then you get to o'portos and o'galos which is another grey area. fast food, but in reality not much difference to your local burger shop...

Just get 2 burgers from ogalo instead of chips

I'm pretty good with facebook security and privacy and pretty much everything as i want it and have done for a couple of years now but the one thing i can't work out is that every time i add someone as a friend i am now "following" them.

how do i stop this from being the default option?

Just finished off the last of the toilet paper. Should I alert everyone in the house of this, or just leave it up to them to hopefully discover before they put bum to seat?

I could go out and buy some more, but that takes effort..

Let them know after they notice, then tell them you let them know, it's their fault.

Small question. The past few Monday nights outside of Flinders there's been a horse and cart getting around. My girlfriend is coming to Melbourne this weekend for our three years and was wondering how to get us on that cart. Do you have to book and pay? Or just hop on and off as it stops? Bit of a Melbourne n00b

Is there a way to find out how much rain is expected in a forecast?

I can find chance of rain no bother, but really need to know how much can be expected? My house leaked like a sieve yesterday in a massive storm and if we get the same tonight or tomorrow then it's gonna be a long day.

When you get a referral letter from the GP for something like a blood test or ultrasound, how long does that referral letter last? Indefinitely? A week? A month? How long after you've been given the referral can you actually waltz in and get the test done?

Whenever I think.

I'm pretty sure when I got the referral I walked down the road to get my blood test done straight after.

Is it better to wake up in a room of complete darkness or with natural sunlight coming in? Opened my blinds last night for the first time since moving in, trying to figure out if I feel any different in regard to waking up with a lit-up room.

Or does it not make a difference?

Is there anywhere in this bloody city you can buy bagels, other than that place in QV, in the CBD.

I bought some cream cheese in my online shopping order, but surprise surprise the bagels I ordered to go with it suddenly became "unavailable" for my order, which I'm assuming has something to do with my location.

I have a mate that raves about a bagel place down in Nunawading I think it is but I assume that might be a bit out of the way for you ;)

Darkness. Especially when you're trying to sleep in.
