Stick an actual tampon up there. You'd look stupid with a tissue hanging out of your nose.
I've never had a blood nose before but I guess it's better to be pro-active.

It's cray. So far spent over 1k on something I haven't used once. Parents insist I should have it though
I think it really depends on your lifestyle. I had no need for it up until 24yo. I was a robust and durable young buck.
I'm now 31. Three knee reconstructions and two clean outs later, I am definitely financially ahead. Not including other general dental work and physio appointments.
If you take some risks ib your lifestyle it really only takes one big injury for it to pay for itself.

What if you already have complications and are just putting off surgery?

I'd probably like a knee reco, there's a tendon in my right ankle that's a bit loose, the kneecap of my left knee hurts, I've got lower right back pain, the back tooth on my lower right side is growing on a diagonal and gets infected at times...

That's about it so far.

Looking at the ATO Website which is actually really good now compared to last year it says I have a $112.75 CR. Does that mean it is my money? Like...Can I have it?

It'll probably get lumped in with your tax return.

It also says I have not done a tax lodgement for the 2003-04 financial year. Is it possible to get a payment summary from somewhere?

HERE's a taxy question for ya.
Let's just say someone hadn't completed tax returns for the last 4 or so years, hypothetically. Can this non-existent person still lodge online or do they need to go to an accountant?

Does anyone know how you actually go about joining the army?

Anyone got any experience, or know someone who's done it?

Also...

Just going back a couple of weeks to the health cover - if you are young and in good shape. Definitely not required IMO. The public system in australia is good (not great) and will look after you if required.

Ambulance cover is good value and you never know when a trip in the ambo's is required.

The big scam of medical insurance is the 2% surcharge you'll cop when applying after you turn 30. People rushing to get insured based on that surcharge have serious problems with maths...

Getting insurance for certain situations is fine. Car (legally required), workers comp, ambo's, travel etc.

But the golden rule with insurance is this - if an insurance company is promoting a product or scheme, they aren't promoting it to save you money.

Agree with all this. Except the part about health care in Australia not being great. It's great, not perfect, but compared to other countries it's a great system.

So I won an AFL Live Pass.. but why cant I find the app in the Microsoft Store??
Trying to download it for my Surface Pro 3 so I can watch games off that instead of using my phone!

Also in this day and age, surely theres a way for me to use that AFL Live Pass to watch games off my desktop computer??

Please help, would be much appreciated! :D

I think they disable it for desktop, as you could just sync it to your TV and make foxtel redundant.

Can't help about using the app itself though, sorry!

I wonder if there is anyone in the world brave enough to admit they watch Dancing With the Stars?
