Used to get calf cramps ALL the time as a kid (growing pains?)-they hurt so much.

So calf cramps >>>>>>>>>>>>>lots worse than the others. (never had jaw or hand cramps o_O)

I've had neck, foot, hammy and calf.

Neck is probably the scariest but calf is the most annoying if you're not at home.

Edit: quad not hammy

Hamstrings are the most painful for me, but they aren't particularly common. Calf is very painful and it's common so on that basis it is the most annoying one. They are also the only cramp which strike me in my sleep so I can't even get my muscles stretched out to defend against them when that happens.

One cramp that is a ****ing campaigner is on the top of the foot. There is hardly any muscle there so I don't know how it happens. It's not overly painful but it's painful enough and the effects can come and go for the better part of 3-4 hours because it's ****ing hard to stretch out.

I remember having a cramp in my hamstring and quad at once. That was a killer as they require a completely opposite flex of the knee to remove. The quad wasn't as painful so copped that whilst I stretched the hammy out. Wasn't the most exciting ten minutes of my life.

Whatever purpose cramps serve (i.e. our body telling us something is wrong) it's not nearly worth the pain they put you through.

Calf cramps are the worst after overstretching.

I've recently been diagnosed with carpal tunnel. Whilst it doesn't constantly hurt (hopefully only early stages), the odd ache does hurt. The other annoying thing about it is numb fingers. I've already dropped and smashed a brand new bottle of expensive perfume, several glasses and tonight, garlic infused olive oil, all because I didn't realise i didn't have a tight enough grip :(

Nothing worse than waking up with a searing cramp in your calf.

Probably an incredibly stupid question, but I purchased an e-Tag the other day. Used it for the first time last night coming home from the city. Went under three toll points along the Monash, am I right in assuming that I'm not being charged for each 'beep'? What is the purpose of three different toll points within a 5km stretch of road?

You get charged per section, so depending on which 3 points then yes you could be charged for all 3
