How did ya'll come to support the EPL teams that you do?
Grandfather from Manchester and a Red. First team I ever heard about, and had no choice in the matter. Growing up in the late 70s/early 80s meant all my glory was gained via the FA Cup, until the SAF era began (slowly at first).

Watched 1981 FA Cup Final with my older brother who said I like the name Spurs. I've been Man City ever since.

But that's the nature of the beast. Makes doubles and trebles all the more amazing.

And the clubs in the extra comps generally have more money thus bigger squads.

It must be a campaigner being the middle brother with orange hair and a shit soccer team.

I'm fascinated to see how Leicester fare in the Champions League next season. I'd like to think they won't lose any key players and will add to their squad so they should have a strong enough squad to give a good account of themselves. But that competition is another beast all together compared to the EPL, as a City fan our struggles in it have been well documented and its taken a lot longer then expected to get as far as we have in it this season.

An epl finals series would be huge. There is nothing like playing finals, even in shitty social bball division 8 the pressure and intensity lifts, always the best games to play in.
The best players are the ones who stand up under finals pressure.

Geez even i would watch an epl grand final...

FA Cup, Champions League final, etc all live up to this

I'm fascinated to see how Hamish Hartlett fares in the unique hat department next season. I'd like to think he won't lose any key hats and will add to his collection so he should have a strong enough collection to give a good account of himself. But that hat collecting department is another beast all together compared to the expensive track pants competition, as a Port Adelaide fan our struggles in it have been well documented and its taken a lot longer then expected to save up enough money to purchase a pair this season.

Aren't you a clever lad.

I picked Newcastle United long ago purely because I was an avid reader of Viz Comic, it came from Tyneside and its pages were full of classic Geordie characters and humour. That's the one and only reason I picked them. Having said that I'd hardly describe myself as emotionally invested. Too far away from where I live to get that caught up in it all.

All my friends at school were foreign so I got into the game heavily as a result. Picked Newcastle off the back of the black and white stripes. Les Ferdinand what a man tho
