Parks and Rec too is brilliant.

Of current shows, huge Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire fan.

I have a huge crush on Louie CK and everything he does so Louie is something I look forward to every week. Anyone of you who doesn't watch Louie needs to get on that shit right now.

I watch way too much TV. I can't stand being at work and having people talk about what they watched on FTA. What is wrong with you people!?

How could I dare miss The Office and Extras. Ricky Gervais is pretty much my idol.

I've been listening to the XFM shows for about 7 years now. Nothing makes me laugh more then Ricky, Steve and Karl in that old tin pot radio station talking shit.

Obvious shout out to early Simpsons too. Simpsons and Seinfeld were my childhood really

HBO did an animated series which basically puts pictures to shit from their podcasts, irs The Ricky Gervais Show. The graphics actually add to it.

Yeah I've seen it. I dunno, I mean it's funny because it's the same material, but it ruined it a bit for me personally. Do they do the XFM shows or just the podcasts? Both are great. There's a new podcast out now with just Ricky and Karl but the iTunes store won't load for me atm

Agree to an extent re Simpsons, the first 2 seasons also contain copious gems like the Dustin Hoffman, Radioactive Man #1, Fugu and Blinky eps.

Genuinely gobsmacked about Parks and Rec. Solid cast, but have watched an episode here and there and it's a pale imitation of The Office (US) which is a squirming backyard abortion of the original.

Do you know if they were first season episodes? Parks & Rec is one of those shows that took a while to get going.

Misfits rocks. I really liked season 3 as well, thought the new character added quite a bit.

Breaking Bad is where its at right now. Depending how it finishes next year, it could end up overtaking The Sopranos and The Wire. Also like Dexter, thought the first season of Boss was excellent. Suits is great at the moment.

In terms of comedies, you just cant beat The Office. I didnt mind Extras, but The Office is the absolute king of kings and always will be. The Thick Of It would be my next favourite. Love political humour, Hollowmen is another along the same line which is great. The League is a crack up, AD was alright, Curb was great. Coupling is good, as is the Peep Show. Didnt mind New Girl as well.

Hated Mad Men. I normally like dialogue heavy shows but this just never went anywhere. Sat through a season and a half and just couldnt get into it, though some individual characters were very good. Tried to get into Parks & Rec as I genuinely love(d) the US Office, but just couldnt get into it either.
