If you had a big enough scale and you could weigh the Earth, would it weigh more, less or be the same as it was a million years ago? Now, no bullshyte about the mass v weight argument - let it be for this.

I don't think matter can be created or destroyed so all current matter in the universe has existed forever. The earth and everything in it is made of matter so (apart from the odd asteroid landing or the odd satellite leaving the orbit) the earth would basically weigh the same.
We (and everything else on earth) are made up of matter that perpetually recyles into other organisms as we (and everything else) decays.

But then I'm not a scientist....

Plenty -knowing something about a topic and fully qualified understanding are two different things, but as I watch/listen to so much news and current events programs and watch plenty of docos on both pay t and free tv I know about lots of things on a surface level. Its then whether I think its worth digging deeper is were I get some knowledge.

But Korea has fascinated me for so long. For almost 20 years between the late 80's and late naughties Korea was our second biggest trading partner, behind Japan but ahead of USA and we virtually knew nothing about their culture. The Korean wave has hit us with manufactured goods, and technology goods, but I think the Korean wave cultural style, is about to hit us big time. It's been bubling away for a few years with K-pop and education. It wont be as big as the Chinese wave and the previous Japanese wave, but it will be noticeable.

I think thats energy can't be created or destroyed but is transfered into another form. I think the conservation of matter rule applies within a closed system, but I will leave that for the scientists and engineers out there to confirm or tell me I'm wrong.

Really? I put extensive hours of incredibly serious practice into my driving skills, mainly through the medium of Mario Kart on the Wii. Because my parents wouldn't want me to drive that often, and I only saw a driving instructor once a month (all i could afford), that game was the primary reason I passed my CBT&A to get my license.

The Earth would weigh more due to the sunlight coming from the sun and us absorbing its energy. Perhaps would weigh less due to all those emissions of CO2.

REH is right, all he does is watch 4 Corners and stuff like that, which anyone can really do. Its nothing special.

Thats why REH can watch current affairs and know a whole bunch of interesting and valuable trivia, while I watch Workaholics and Louie and therefore know a lot about stoner and masturbation jokes. It all evens out, you know?

To any learner drivers out there, don't heavily play GTA before you've done 10-15 hours of driving. I remember going for a drive with my Dad after a couple of hours of GTA and spending my first 5-10 seconds on the wrong side of the road before it clicked.

Ooh, I have a fun story that I forgot to tell you guys.

Went to a birthday lunch for my girlfriend with her family on Sunday. There were 11 of them there, all Crows supporters. To a man, every one of them blamed the umpires and solely the umpires for their loss. My favourite comment was the one who claimed that 'the goal Buddy got for that free against Rutten cost us the game', despite the fact that Buddy kicked a point from that free kick (unlike Jason Porplyzia's goal from a similar retaliation free kick at a crucial stage in the fourth quarter).

Mass of the earth increases with time due to asteroids/meteors hitting earth. Several thousand hit each day but most are small enough to burn up in the atmosphere. Satellites eventually fall back to earth but mass satellites << mass asteroids.
