I lost a family member this week

It's the week for it, my sister-in-law was pronounced brain dead on Sunday night, heart attack / stroke combo, they harvested what organs they could use on early Tuesday morning, she was called dead about 6am. My wife is a wreck as our first grandchild was born on the 6th December.

Played for little under an hour and never got out of second gear. They walked off stage at 10:30pm and by 10:35pm the lights were on and the roadies had packed up half their stuff.

Was a stark contrast to last year's gig at the same venue.
The support act was very good though. Can't recall their name.

It's on Thursday night at the Hi-Fi. I don't want to go if they are going to be average.

Great venue though, I went there for the first time last night and it was awesome. Good bar access and no line ups because all the stoners that were there to see The Melvins were stoned.

Helmet were great last night. Really great.

As I've caught up with about 10 unread pages of this thread there is some sad stuff happening to a few of our people here. I guess there always is to someone but the juxtaposition with Xmas can make it seem worse. Condolences to CamTASPAFC, Asgardian, and anyone else so affected.

If only we could buy a DVD box set of all our games for a season from the megastore. I would be all over that, no matter the cost. Too bad fox footy and channel 7 probably wouldn't be too keen.
