Do you watch 'Episodes'? Stars Matt LeBlanc as a distorted version of himself and it is really good. I watched a couple of episodes a few years ago but it didn't click. However recently it started on Foxtel from episode 1 and I realised you need to see it build.
BTW Cats v Crows is a pretty entertaining game.

Episodes is pretty good yes. LeBlanc has aged well. Mangan is brilliant, did you see him in the short series of Dirk Gently episodes? Tamsin Greig does bitch so well.

Episodes is pretty good yes. LeBlanc has aged well. Mangan is brilliant, did you see him in the short series of Dirk Gently episodes? Tamsin Greig does bitch so well.

LeBlanc's role is so clever when after 'Joey' he was dismissed as only ever being able to play the one role. So here he plays himself desperately keen to play a new role, and yet still only able to play Joey.
I hadn't seen Mangan before but he and Greig work very well together. I saw her in 'Black Books' which I disliked though I like all the three leads there individually.

Although its shocking to see how different things were (in fact, more progressive) 40 odd years ago, one of the big issues is that many of these pictures (there was one of Iran) shows the upper tiers of the upper class and doesn't demonstrate the issues of extreme poverty etc that was/is often rife in many of these countries.
Things have definitely changed and I'm not trying to detract from that, but a lot of people see these images and instantly think Afghanistan = utopia 40 odd years ago when in reality it only shows a very specific subgroup of people from a very specific class.

Man I saw an episode of that ages ago, when my mate's extremely toffy friends showed it to us along with a bit of Fry and Laurie.

I just remember being incredibly confused during the green wing, and incredibly bored during Fry and Laurie.
