Formed by greedy landlord
Success built on foreign players (scots in the past)
Pools money
Non scouse fans
Yanks money
Of all clubs Liverpool have no right to call any other plastic.

Not to mention the scummy fans who used to Rob European shops, cut people up with Stanley knives and culminated in Heysel and disgracing football.
Yeah, foundation didn't sound all too great but shit that's going back to the 1800s. Scots are of the same island - whats the difference between having a scot in your team and having a guy whos from another city? can't all be local boys. ridiculous prejudice anyway. Besides, it was hardly importing foreigners en masse to conquer the league. 'non scouse fans' can be said for any big team. It's the nature of bandwagoners to cling to successful sides, not some fault of Liverpool, arguably Man Utd are the kings of foreign support and that kind of marketing.

Yanks 'money' - hardly been abused to purchase all the top talent to have a team of players on 200k a week wages ala chelsea, city

The fans I can't really account for. Bad eggs are everywhere.

Ferguson goes for one season and freaking Liverpool win the league. Liverpool. I hate all the big clubs for allowing this to happen.

And when the league hierarchy has never been more vulnerable, our enlightened owner decides to run us - a club with a 52,000 all-seater stadium bought and paid for - like a local mum & dad kebab shop.

Improve the squad and progress towards a station more in keeping with our size and support? Nah, aspire to turn a modest profit by selling players to whoever shows the merest interest.

Our owner spent to get us to a position where could compete, with consecutive 6th place finishes and an exciting team with players like Young, Milner, Downing, Barry, and Carew, then saw the Sheiks take what was already a money league to ridiculous levels, shrugged his shoulders and gave up. He slashed the wage bills and has basically been treading water for 5 years trying to reduce expenditure. If we'd just kept investing and stuck around the 6th mark, maybe we could have been the team that took advantage of down seasons from the big clubs and pinched a league title.

If we stay up (which we should), it looks like we're getting sold in the summer, hopefully to someone who has a bit of interest in improving us.

Is Vince McMahon still buying Newcastle? I'd kinda like to see a distracted referee miss someone jumping out of the crowd and hitting Simon Mignolet with a chair.

If you don't know then I can't explain. France is the same island as Greece going by that logic.

My point was you casted aspersions at City and Chelsea when the same applies to Liverpool. And no other club has fans as scummy as Liverpool.

Liverpool BOUGHT the scots in the same way club these days buy French and Italian players, it's no different. This was at a time when local players meant something and they have done it all, through their existence, it's no more of a prejudice than your comment. Using Pools money (gambling money) to do so.

Fair enough points, i'm not educated enough to rebutt.

Can't view any current big club as pure in that case - all of their success was all built off foreign players. United had them in the 90s in the beginning of their dominance of the modern era, Chelsea and City too in recent times. Arsenal perhaps? Lot of their success in the 90s and early 00s could be credited to the French though, I don't have a deep enough understanding of their older successes.

It's been done to death over the past year, ed

Oi and you you little Syd.

City were never mediocre.

Just a bit inconsistent....

Top 10 is aspirational for Ashley.

I miss Richo's Wrap.
Couldn't we have another segment during the week... like

"Heart to Hart" or "Walshie's Wrap"

No need to worry, you're nothing but a bankrolled force of the comp in my era of sawcer ball watchin'

Point of difference being we had 30k watching us in the old second division.

No other "big" clubs supporters loyalty has been tested like Citys.

Yeah we got bought and yeah everytime you fill up your car with petrol Sergio Agueros smile gets a bit bigger but a massive point of difference between what our owners are doing and what Chelski, the rags and the bindippers owners are doing is investing in the the actual City we are in.

I'd take a Man City like investment at Villa in a heartbeat and I wouldn't feel bad for a second.

Sadly people don't see the big picture.

Moyes sacked
United shares, which trade on the New York Stock Exchange, were up more than 6.5 per cent at $18.80 at 1830 BST, signalling investor relief at the decision to sack Moyes.
Moyes sacked

From the same article, I would like to think Kenny Hinkley's connection to Port matches that of Jurgen Klopp's to Borussia Dortmund

However, Klopp has ruled himself out of the job, the 46-year-old telling The Guardian: "Man Utd is a great club and I feel very familiar with their wonderful fans. But my commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people is not breakable."

Sure, people are smiling but Moyes knew this wasn't a joke...

Currently "big" club.

But yeah.
If they are currently big then they aren't struggling.
City are punching well above their traditional weight as you know. Being gifted the commonwealth games stadium made it possible.
