Noarlunga line is mixed bag. You've classy suburbs / patrons up until Brighton. Then neither here or there until you hit Christies Downs when it goes Gawler line quality for the last bit.

I have never had much issues with bogans on the Noarlunga line, worst i have seen was a very suspicious looking guy who got on at brighton without paying who once in a while put his hand in his pocket and shake a bottle of pills, he got off at Hallett Cove anyways. Then again i do not take the train all that often.

It's funny, seeing all the train stations that have been renovated and seeing Christie Downs that still looks like a public toilet, 3 guesses to why they wont do that station up.

Saul is literally the only interesting thing about Breaking Bad in season 4.

I'm a bit torn on this one

Woah woah, lets not say things we may regret here!

I watched the first ep tonight too and was surprised by it in a good way.

Was a bit worried after the first scene, which was completely pointless and wouldn't make any sense to someone who hasn't seen BB, but after that it was quite good. If they can avoid a BB cameo or reference every 10 minutes it will be ok.

I'm going to wait until the entire series is out/available before watching this one. The weekly wait for a new Breaking Bad episode was blue balls levels of frustrating and I'm not doing it again.

I've been watching Peaky Blinders the last few weeks and it's pretty good.
Sort of like Sons of Anarchy meets Board Walk Empire, set in post-Great War Birmingham,
Has a great soundtrack too. (Cave's Red Right Hand gets a workout with various covers and arrangements through the series)

I've also heard The Knick is worth watching.

By the time I've got through these two, I'll be ready to call Saul.

I had high hopes for this show, the sub-plot with C.I. Campbell (an excellent Sam Neill) hunting the stolen guns was very good. But the soap opera/romance aspect amped up hard once that resolved and I lost interest. Same as Boardwalk Empire which was also very promising for a few seasons.
Hats off to PB's atmosphere. And specially the recognition that there was this huge pool of violence-hardened WWI veterans to fill whatever faction the writers want to involve in that episode i.e. the Communists, the gypsies, the PBs, the police and so on.
I've dipped into The Sopranos on Foxtel a few times in recent weeks, in that broad-brush crime genre nothing really comes close to it.

Let me know when they give it a less stupid title and I'll give it a shot. :)

After the Blues hammering last year, was making my usual train trek home (the one game I did not have the tin lids with me), when some bogan blues supporter (plus semi retread girlfriend) started gobbing off about Pooort, need handouts blah blah...how all the supporters were on the dole, you know, those old chestnuts. Anyway, as we approached my stop at Brighton I asked him which station he was getting off at. Christies, why, was his answer. Oh no reason, as I said as I prepared to alight at Brighton, maybe get someone who can read to explain what the word irony means...doors open, manure departs to the stifled chuckles in the carriage.

The scene: An Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cross Cultural Awareness workshop - for public servants

Master Didjeridoo player gives a marvellous demonstration of his craft (art?)

Woman in audience asks if she can have a go...
And...

I'll be going home to visit a legal website to purchase the first episode at lunch of better call saul

I haven't been able to get into a tv show since BB finished. It broke me............ broke me bad #ouch #illshowmyselfout
Torrenting IS legal in Australia.

Series 1 was great. Series 2 died on its arse imo.

I've never known the official law regarding torrents.
Apparently Piratebay has been re-opened by the FBI who are taking down IP addresses of those using the site and whilst this could be total BS, I'm a calculated risk taker ;)

Over 30% of Australians torrent. A lot of voters right there

FBI don't have jurisdiction in Australia (obv). :) We also passed privacy laws recently that protect us even further.
