What does your first line have to do with prohibition working? It only stops the smart one's or at least those who aren't influenced by peer group pressure, it's the dumb asses that take that crap who need to be educated not to take the crap in the first place.
And yep, those 'pingers' can seriously screw people up.
Maybe if it's some 'khead who takes the drugs week in week out will get ****ed up like anyone overusing any substance like alcohol but if taken in moderation it doesn't negatively impact you more than anything else. Nearly all instances of people getting ****ed up from one pill or whatever are due to the faults of probihition, where the pills are filled with unknown shit to cut costs. Regulate the industry and this disappears.
Yeah look, touchy issue. I wouldn't do that shit. But is prohibition working?Smoking ice is ok?
Let me get this straight, I'm not advocating taking drugs and I'm not saying all drugs are fine and good and have no negative impacts. But the way we approach them and stigmatise them is not helping whatsoever.
It is relevant to bring up alcohol because it's a similar thing - a substance people take to alter their mind and behaviour temporarily. Alcohol has barely got a stigma attached to it in moderation, why do drugs like MDMA and pot?How is it relevant to the situation at stereos though? Why bring it up? The more pressing issue is that people are dying as a result of drug use, how can we prevent this? How can we educate people to not do this? By pointing the finger at alcohol instead?
It's not relevant in this case. You want to grand stand about society as a whole, go for it, but that doesn't apply to the original post on the topic, does it?
