I hate that. You go to the board and they refuse to grant you a hundred million quid war chest and they tell you it's coz you're in the Sweet Home Vanarama Conference. Well no shit, guy, and we're getting nowhere with that attitude.

Good to see Rosewater deregistered, obviously a lot wrong with the club. One of my best mates had his jaw broken by some dickhead's elbow last year, IIRC dickhead got a 12 match suspension + life ban.

Funnily enough my great-grandfather captained Rosewater in the 1920s after he left the PAFC.

Ha, I knew it sounded a bit dumb when I wrote it, but he received a 12 game suspension and consequently went over the 16 game threshold.

Edit: Actually, Google tells me that the SAAFL automatically ban a player for life when they're suspended for 12 or more games.

Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure this guy was deregistered nationwide because he'd had previous suspensions which took him over the 16 game threshold.

I know how you feel.

My parents built the house I grew up in. It was a new sub-division so no houses there previously. When my mother died (my father had died previously) the house was sold to a developer who promptly demolished it. That was sad.
