Apparently based is a word reclaimed by American rapper Lil B;

"Lil B and music critics refer to his rapping style as "based", a word that Lil B also uses to describe a positive, tolerant lifestyle. "Based" is a reclaimed word, as described by Lil B in Complex

“Based means being yourself. Not being scared of what people think about you. Not being afraid to do what you wanna do. Being positive. When I was younger, based was a negative term that meant like dopehead, or basehead. People used to make fun of me. They was like, ‘You’re based.’ They’d use it as a negative. And what I did was turn that negative into a positive. I started embracing it like, ‘Yeah, I’m based.’ I made it mine. I embedded it in my head. Based is positive.”"

So Doctor Feel may be the Based Doctor but this guy is the Based God

I wish I could unhear that.

The sanctimony is delish.

“You pretend you have the moral high ground but you put that man’s finger on the nuclear button. That man doesn’t ‘believe’ in climate change.
“Do you believe in gravity? Did you know gravity is just a theory?”

When asked to leave her seat and exit the plane, she responded:
“I paid for this seat and I’m sitting... there is no way I’m getting off this plane.”

Listening to the latest This American Carnage Life, interesting stuff.

The Deplorables who "memed Trump into presidency"

Factory workers in Indiana who voted for Trump and how he "saved" their jobs by promising tax cuts if the company stayed.

Except 700 jobs saved and 1300 still lost their jobs to Mexico.

Unrelated,

FACT. I resemble Parks & Rec era Chris Pratt, only 4 inches shorter.

Alternative Fact. I resemble Star Lord era Chris Pratt only better looking.

Lol holy shit

You sir, have stamina.
I lasted about 6. It was like a bad acid trip while locked in the concrete basement at a construction site.
I made it to the 23rd second and began to enter another plane of existence...

Haha and the dismissal of Gough - which he calls a coup - festered away for 8 years before payback was possible. He did say to the opposition when Treasurer - invoking catholic/christian imagery - "From this day onwards, Howard will wear his leadership like a crown of thorns, and in the parliament I'll do everything to crucify him.".

My favourite memory of Keating was from his life story, which was shown on the ABC a few years back.

He is obviously no fan of suburban 4 wheel drivers, and actually referred to them as boneheads. :thumbsu:

He followed that up by saying, if he was still in power he would tax them senseless, or words to that effect.
Then he made the comment, that every time he saw a suburban 4 wheel driver, he would say there goes another bonehead!

Anyone who has ever been hemmed in, in a shopping centre car park by those P.O.S., or has attempted to drop kids off at school, when there are 5 or 6 of them taking up 10 parking spaces because their 3 wheeler drivers can't even steer the f****** things in a straight line, will know exactly where PK was coming from.

Geez I nearly lost it there for a while! ;)

At the nearest shopping centre to where I'm staying there is someone who owns a Hummer. Not once have I seen it parked parallel inside the lines. Always takes up 1.25 parks. I don't care about their need to over compensate but if you're gonna drive it, learn to park it.

Probably because they are a foot wider than cars.

At 2.1m, you'd be lucky to fit one between the lines @ 2.4, given the manoeuvre space.

Shouldn't be allowed on the roads tbh

Not saying you'd whip it in like a compact but a three pointer I've no doubt would see it parked parallel and inside the lines. Where I live in Brissy(ish) my local shops car parks are pretty tight mostly due to the lack of space between the rows, not the parks themselves. I've parked Commodores, Falcons and SUV's just by having the common sense to slightly overshoot, back up then drive staight in. Seriously, if that Hummer driver can't cope with that then they should get a car they can park.

You really have to wonder Lou why anyone would want to drive a Hummer around the suburbs.
I just don't get how people see something like that as a prestige symbol, but apparently some do. o_O

I don't disagree, but if you are having to do three point entries into local shopping centre carparks, something is wrong with the carpark.
