A legitimately interesting character? Nah not their M.O.

Galakk Fyyar and his power suit would be epic, so are things like the reborn, sith temples and so on. However I guess they figure they dumb down the movies and keep them basic because they want to engange the average derpmerchant rather than hardcore fan. Since appealing to hardcore fans won't particularly bring in the new audiences.

I just hope we get some high budget and high quality Star Wars RPGs/action adventure games out of this.

Do they really need new audiences though? Star Wars was already one of the biggest franchises of all time. I completely understand that the company is hungry and greedy, but this isn't a niche pickup. They are still going to get huge returns just with the established fan base.

I really really really want to see a Shadows of the Empire film, animated like the style of the Tie Fighter clip Dylan8 posted the other day, but with the passing of Carrie Fisher, it will certainly never happen. Some say it never would have anyway, but Disney have already started cherry picking the old EU.
