I am completely wrapped with our drafting this season. I have never been happier with the clear strategy of going for players with a bit of hardness at the footy and man. Hopefully we will unearth a few of these type of much needed players

Browne, Arnfield, Pffeifer and then some of the rookies that appear to have a real dip.

I am wrapped they are all mids. You need to win the footy.

We need to develop some hardnuts to help out the murphy, Gibbs, Simpson, Walker ect down the track.

We cant let Sentanta do it all alone.

I think Ratten is facing it with every great player we pick up. Kreuzer, Judd (return of Stevens), Hadley will add a sense of expectation to Rattens 2008 performance which will already be weighed his replacement of Pagan.

Really concerned for the bloke, and there is not much to go on at this stage beyond guess.

However, if we are allowed to go on gut feeling, I reckon the bloke might go ok. He seems to be fairly reserved and considered kind of bloke who knows how to do the tough stuff. He appears to have the personality elements of a good coach, if such a thing can be said.

It would be the greatest decision of all time if the guy turned out to be a bloody master....FCK ME!

It's the attitude of Ratten that I think will make the most difference. It's his belief in the players - like telling Walker to back himself in the games and just take them on - it's giving the players that extra little bit of confidence in themselves where I think we will see a small difference.

One small step at a time. But, Ratts is no doubt my favourite recruit of the past 6 months.

Very happy with an emphasis on recruiting guys with some hardness & kicking skills.
