Just watched it online and can see some talent there. The recruit who stood out to me most early was Daniel Johncock, not only the skills side of his game but mentally as well. Went down with the injury which unfortunately could do against him later in the show and the coaches seemed to not like how he was carrying on about the injury.

I've seen a bit of Tyrone Armitage in Sydney AFL this year, very strongly built inside player. Good chance to go far in he competition and is rated highly in Sydney AFL.

Waylan Manson unfortunately won't last the distance I think. Natural ability to play the game is there but mentally seems pretty weak
How did you watch it online? link?

The perfect show to sell overseas to help explain football to the poor bastards that don't appreciate/understand/know about it yet.

Get it subtitled and show it in China, France.

Maybe the Yank newscasters would stop calling AFL rugby then.

Hard to take the show seriously when one of the kids that didnt make the final 13 can not even get a game in his local team and they play divy 2

How did he even get on the show

The player with the most screen time and personal story is the winner. It's called a "Winner's Edit"

Enjoyed the show I guess.

However, Voss and his reality show cliches and acting very annoying.
Ben Dixon loves himself to death and always thinks he's the "cool" guy. Nah.
Plus, I don't understand the guys participating between 26 and 31. They had no chance and were clearly picked, so they could be eliminated.

Lets be honest Foxtel doesn't have a recruiting network better then any of the 18 AFL teams so the players they find arn't going to be up to standard. Every AFL team looked at Manson 2 years ago and didn't draft him. Only player that might be a chance to getting close to a AFL game would be the 204cm ruckman only because of the position he plays.
Best part of the show was the pracy game, it's a pity there going to do more offield activities then onfield. I would prefer to see them go through what they do at the draft camp and compare them to players that got drafted. Who cares if they can jump off Etihad Stadium.

If Johncock's kicking is as good as they say(and his calf is OK) then he should go well given his physical attributes and only being 21. Sounds like he hasn't taken footy seriously until recently. Looked like they were trying to paint him as a bit soft to give him a weakness, which I don't buy. Also like the Jackal as a dark horse.

It is a pretty lethal left foot. Has no problem slotting goals from outside 50, like most lefties though, a not so great right foot.

What they do have is an opportunity to find guys just as good as those drafted recently but before they got put through a state league trial that often happens. Sam Lloyd kicked 100 goals in a local league then went to Frankston in the VFL. Patty Ambrose was playing for Old Xavs before he went to Essendon VFL. Kyle Martin dominating SFL before he went to Frankston then on to Collingwood. Lewis Jetta was described by Nev Jetta's mum as the best in the family whilst playing local footy, then he went the WAFL and dominated and became a first round draft pick. That's the type of player they are looking for. Pretty much the guy who catches the recruiters eyes but the recruiters tell them they need to see it at VFL level. There's not too many of them out there but there should be a few.

I'm hoping they do put them through all the draft camp tests. They have 10 weeks so long enough to do it and to still do all the reality TV stunt stuff. My plan is to record the episodes then fast forward through all the crap and just watch any interesting footy stuff.

^ Everyone keeps calling her a blonde, but I think she's more of a closeted ranga.....which isn't a bad thing IMHO
