GAHHH TAX! I HATE TAX! I rather just do journal entries, debit and credit my way to a degree...

Hehe... if a guy called Tom O'Sullivan is still lecturing in Business Taxation (you'll prob do it in 3rd year)... make sure you go to his lectures. Best lecturer I had.

I think I could get ~90 the way I'm going now, because I've got EE2. It'll be my make or break. I'm doing fairly well in Modern, English and EE1 as well. Maths I'm doing fine, but if (when) I study I do much better. 2U is easy.

I want to aim for 97, but its pretty far away. Everyone seems to think its possible though, so I might try for that.

Kritika, knowing you, you could go all the way to 99.95. I am not joking when I say this.

Nope, most accounting students generally do a minor in it because if you want to do the CA or CPA program later on, they require you to do certain business law subjects... I did too many electives so didn't have enough units left to major in it

i knew a guy who flunked his year 12 because of poor attendance

he rocked up to my school the following year, and finally did his final VCE year

mind you he skipped closer to 40%

anyway failing yr 10 isn't the worst, my parents wanted to hold me back in prep .... sadly its not a joke

How do I work up the motivation to study for a good 2 or 3 hours a day?

I haven't ever studied like that, but I figured since I have 2 months of no assessments, no exams I'd get over the massive pile of pending study and note-making. Don't want to stress out next term like I did this term at all.

haha, sorry, thats the best I got mate...

Try think of someone who thinks you wont/cant make it and stick it up em! (even if its yourself) Think about how easy your lifes gonna be when you achieve your goals, how satisfied you will be! Probably rich too, Ive read your posts, I dont believe theirs anything you cant do study wise!
