After flinging mud at schibeci ITT for years. When I found out he had a gig at rsn overnights, I felt compelled to listen.

And just as bad was crump saying he won 3 solo world tittles and 4 team tittles and maher going yeah you put someone in a sidecar... Jason had to say he has always ridden solos... I mean how hard is it for these blokes to look things up"So is your aim to get to Europe and race like Crumpy?"
"Yeah I've been racing in Europe for the last 3 years"
Awkward.

Same.I like hearing Mario. At least he's something different![]()
On another note. Can anyone remind me why Bruce Eva hot the boot years ago?
You genuinely make me pee my pants. Such brilliance.you are expecting maher and gaze to do research? other than footy i doubt they conduct any form of homework. and even then, when footy journos/media persons get it wrong they just laugh it off. and their colleagues do the same. no wonder why we get beaten annually when it comes to VCE/IB scores.

They should do research. But I'll say that speedway is hard to follow.
?
What did he say?Grant Thomas was good listening this morning about Jake Carlisle.

It's how the footy media is these days. If you've played the game before, you get to bypass a course in broadcasting and proper training/education.Professionals like Jason Bennett and Peter Donegan seem to be always on the fringes of the media - They are wasted talents.
Agreed. He pretty much told it as it is, like he did throughout his coaching and media career. Said there should be no second chances and if any player is found doing any form of illicit drugs they should be deregistered never to return to the AFL (or words to that effect).
Also, wasn't Steve Salisbury great again last night? I could listen to the dude for hours, has a great radio voice. I only heard the end of his chat with Finey re: Carlisle as I was in the car on the way home from indoor but I liked his perspective a lot. He had a cool outlook on how to get teenagers in Australia vying to play pro ball, too.

No second chances at all? So an 18 year old kid makes one mistake and smokes a spliff whilst overseas for the first time and it's expected that never allowing him to have an AFL career is a good idea? Must be great living in an ivory tower like Grant.
Ha ha, yes, he's not the best. He emphasizes the wrong words and syllables, and fluffs a few things. It's a throwback to the SEN work experience newsroom from a couple of years ago.Anyone noticed how, at least late evening to nightshift, that the newsreaders can't seem to go a sentence without making an error. It's amplified as well the way a guy called Alfie? tries so hard to be accurate. Poor guy.
