What about Daniel Harford....this is one show where a football identity would be the best host IMO...then could talk footy with confidence non stop...gotta be the right person though............p.s.......just had a brainwave!!........why not Pickers + Allen.....a great team back on doing what they do best.......then we still get to hear them, only at different time of day....that would keep them on all year round!!.......I want the job as program manager at SEN!!

You are wasting your time there are not going to be any changes at SEN for as long as Mark Johnson is the program manager.

Johnson doesnt take notice of those at SEN who have given him ideas about how to improve SEN or thought they were getting through to him when they have talked to him about the station.

He promises things to someone then he will tell another the complete opposite. The man is a complete waste of space at SEN and nothing will change while he is pretending to be the program manager at the joint.

Xbox it was Glenn Manton talking about his charity work. He was talking about how he works. For example he will target one person at a time to try and get their life on track and not try to turn around a group of people. He was talking about one young kid whose sisters were prostitutes and she got heroin for her 12th birthday.

Can we please get a running count of the amount of times Dr. Brukner says "How would you like a heart attack?".

That makes a lot more sense and less weird. But, still, come on - dealing with people like that every day - the guy is a wonderful talent. An AFL player with two teams, a goal-keeper for the Melbourne Knights and now a guidance counceller.

Caught 1/2 hr of Morning Glory today.

Andrew Maher was away so it was left to Watson and Brownless to try and manage it on their own. Needless to say it was pretty ordinary.

Note for Brownless : I don't know why you feel the need to yell every 5th or 6th word but there is no need to do it.

It's probably so he can keep himself awake during what is the worst show on SEN. Cannot figure out how the most important session of any radio station's day is being wasted on SEN on morning glory. It must cost them a packet too to keep these three on air and all for no return. Very stupid.

Agreed, but Mr Johnson no longer has the FULL support of the board, who are closely watching his performance (or lack of it), have been upset with his ability to lose talent that some board members rated highly and are aware of the lack of respect the hosts of the various shifts have for him (and that comes from a current host who despises him)

Anyone hear jeff fennech interview today, that guy just comes across as a giant tool if you ask me. Leach did alright by himself but that show suffers when only person is hosting it.

BTW is there a rule at SEN that an ex hawthorn player has to be on casual fridays? Ben Dixon was in today covering for Daniel Harford and I'm sure I've heard Nick Holland covering for Harford too. Good show so I'm not complaining just funny how there is always an ex hawks in there.

Those I speak to say that Ross does most of the AFL work anyway so the station doesnt need two of them.

Eddie made the Collingwood decision so he can play president - that's a big part of the reason he isn't at 3AW, only SEN can afford to have a guy on their commentary team who isn't available every Saturday.

Who is this Ross bloke and why is he making the most important decisions if he's not the boss? SEN's AFL coverage is far and away the most important thing the station has going for it so why isn't the top dog callin the shots?

i turned on the gladiators last night just after midnight and they were discussing Terry Wallace and the tigs win last night in NSW...then have a guess who rang in to talk about the game, yep Terry Wallace himself who had just got off a plane and was listening on the way home. Terry was great giving a recap of the match, answering questions and even taking Billy from West Heidelbergs call.
