"Dig up his grave, pull out his tongue!"

I think, Lisa, that you’ve been taken in by an obvious forgery. Unfortunately, historical research is plagued by this sort of hoax, the so called ‘confession’. It’s just as phony as the Howard Hughes will, the Hitler diaries, or the Emancipation Retraction

No tongue hey? How does he eat? And talk, and laugh and love?!?!

This is one of my favourite lines from the show, love how he escalates so dramatically at the end.

Kids, let me tell you about another so-called "wicked" guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas, and he didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was.... I forget. But the point is.... I forget that too. Marge you know who I'm talking about - he used to drive that blue car?

In episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

This is my favorite Simpsons moment, and probably my favourite TV of all time. And it's the exact reason The Simpsons is my favourite show. It's not all about the laughs, it plays at other emotions too.

Just watched the Moaning Lisa episode. Definitely the best from season 1. They just got shit done early on The Simpsons. The moment where Lisa says she wasn't dodging the balls because she is too sad is pretty heartbreaking.
