Are Port tanking or just shit?
If anyone wants some lulz head over to the port board gameday thread![]()

Makes a refreshing change from the Coburg rubbish.Ruthless.
Wash your mouth out! Vlad's ego trip folly that's severely hampered our rebuild. Some of those kids should be playing for us instead of that non-supported manufactured bullshit.I reckon GWS will become my second team... love the way their kids play!
I agree. Won't be long until we are really hating them. I spit on them. Manufactured shit club that is doomed to fail. 7000 there again today. They have no place in our game.Wash your mouth out! head over all you like, but don't come whining in here if you post and you cop a card. Just saying that's all. Carry on.Are Port tanking or just shit?

If we lose a GF to them or Gold Coast I'll stop following the game.![]()
I could never work out this second team rubbish. Its Richmond or nothing.
They'll never be supported no matter how well they do. Swans have been there 30 years, played GF's, won a flag, make the finals every year and still aren't embedded in the pysche of most Sydneysiders. They get most of their support from trendy upper middle class types in the north & east. Western Sydney is a completely different kettle of fish. NRL daylight Soccer then more daylight, staunch working class people set in their ways with no time for following boutique sports. Which is what Aussie Rules essentially is up there.LMAO... Gold Coast I agree... no strategic reason to plonk a team amongst the bikini's and pina colada's...
GWS however, as clunky as the start has been, I reckon with the NSW/Sydney market being only serviced by one team, there had to be some expansion in this market... it's just common sense.
GWS already show more grit and fight than most of the fun boys who are living it up in broadbeach in the sun.
Personally I like hearing more and more Sydney folk showing at least some parting interest in our great game.
The fact that The Tigers were still rock bottom right at the time when the draft was compromised is due to our shit effort over the past 20 odd years...
As long as you dont live near Lygon street, fair callAgree... some on hear will know I am a Tiger through & through... have been for over 40 years...
It's just the geography of where I live now and seeing a new club showing some pride and passion that I admire.

This is true.
They don't even have a niche market. Storm has a niche market. They consistently get a core group of 10k supporters and then they add to that with hangers on and theatre goers and they get a consistent crowd of 12k to 14k, which for rugby league, is quite reasonable and for AAMI Park is a comfortable crowd that doesn't detract from the atmosphere. The Rebels have the same niche market. But put another league or union side in Melbourne and they would die a quick death.
Sydneysiders don't attend games like we do. It's more a three or four time a year thing for them rather than every week like it is for us. And they certainly don't attend two codes in the one weekend. I just can't see a Penrith or Parramatte supporter attending an NRL game and and AFL game in the same weekend.
