Could be too little too late, but we're playing well at the moment.

Hopefully it's a case of us hitting the right form at the right time...think we're going to need to win one of the Liverpool or Spurs games though which might be asking too much. That being said, the confidence the team is playing with is important. We need to go out and feel like we can get results. The nervous and shaky form we had prior to Swansea can't be allowed to creep back in.

Hopefully we are officially safe by the time you play us. Then if we lose i won't be disappointing at all. ;)

Pardew seems to still speak fondly of his time with us - maybe he'll do us a favour haha :D

Bit worried about the Toon this weekend, you guys are certainly up and about!!! Praying you don't go down, apparently Newcastle away fans have a great laugh with us. Rafa will get a rousing reception by the whole stadium. I'm not going to be too upset if we drop points though, happy to assist the geordies in a relegation battle. There is one downside - Scumberland tend to buy our rejects for good money - perhaps you guys can take Benteke off our hands for around 20m if you stay up :) :) :)

Thanks mate. Throw in Firmino and that sounds like a good deal. :D

I think we're more of a chance to get a result v Spurs on the final day than at Liverpool but if we get something on the weekend, it would be a big lift for our chances. Maybe we'll get lucky and your boys will have already have an eye on a trip to Spain next week... :)

I can't see is taking anything from Liverpool, we have been worse then woeful away this season and I don't expect that to change despite our small spike in form (albeit at home), I do give us a chance at snatching a point off Spurs at home on the last day (I'm hoping that Leicester have already won the league by then). The two keys are the Palace and Villa games, must take 6 points from those two, a point against Spurs on the final day would make it 7 points from the final 4 games and a grand total of 36, that would give us a solid chance of survival (assuming Sunderland and Norwich don't pick up too much in the final run in), Sunderland are the ones that worry me the most, they are home to Arsenal this weekend, Arsenal have finished off so scratchy this season and Sunderland have a nasty habit of getting themselves out of trouble at the end of the season, I give them more then a chance of getting something this week, if they happen to win it would be a huge blow for us

The last 5 times Scumderland have played Arsenal they have lost 4 of them, drawn 1 and have conceded 12 and scored 3. Arsenal will obliterate them, I'm hoping its a 3-0 whitewash lol.

You are more confident then I am mate, hope you are right, in any case it will mean nothing if we don't pick up our own points along the way

Sunderland have been a circus for the last 2-3 years though. Under Allardyce, they've looked strong and aren't playing anything like relegation contenders. On top of that, Arsenal are in very average form, and are traveling to the Stadium of Light coming off a three day break. Sunderland have a big chance to pull off a win here.

I feel like Spurs at home is more likely to be a favourable result than Liverpool away - especially if the title is decided before Spurs visit.

I've got a sick feeling the Scum will pull off a shock win against Arsenal - they have a habit of doing that late in the season. The rest of their games aren't too bad either which is a worry.

The big plus for us is Arsenal are in a fight for a CL finish so can't afford to take it easy. They should be up for the game...

A big win for them would also help our GD out which might yet become a factor.

Adam Armstrong made the PFA League One team of the season - good effort and recognition for him as a 19 year old. If we go down, would love to give him a proper run out in the championship.

Pretty worried about this Liverpool game to be honest - Anfield is essentially the last place we want to play at - and our away form this season has been horrendous. Couple that with Liverpool's strong home form recently (12 goals in their last 3 games there - vs Stoke, Dortmund and Everton) is going to be a huge test for us.

Origi is going to miss...but that means Sturridge might lead the line and he likes playing us (6 in 6 starts vs us).

A draw would be a fantastic outcome for us but we'll need 11 heroes putting in a full shift for 90 minutes...AND some luck. Going to be tough.

I'd probably go with the same team that played City.

--------------Darlow---------------
Anita--Lascelles--Mbemba--Dummett
Townsend--Colback--Tiote--Sissoko
--------------Perez----------------
--------------Cisse----------------

Tiote was very good against City and will need to be so again Liverpool. Needs to give their midfield a tough day. Same with Colback. Will probably need the both of them to protect the middle of the park as much as they can and break up the play.

Tempted to see Mitro start but Rafa seems to like him as an impact sub - which might be handy if we need to jag an equaliser or gamble for a win late in the game. Cisse's closing down and work rate might see him start again - trust Rafa to make the right call though.

The other idea I toyed with was Shelvey coming in for Perez to boost the midfield but that would isolate Cisse and he struggles as a lone man up front - if they did start Shelvey, maybe Mitro starts as well?

Unchanged team - here's hoping for a similar performance full of effort, determination and heart!

Liverpool appear to have named a strong side which is a worry - though maybe a few of their better players will be withdrawn for their upcoming EL tie.

2-0 HT. Pretty bleak so far. Nothing to really take encouragement from. Can't see us getting anything from this sadly.

Amazing come back.. Could be to little to late! We looked so strong in the 2nd half, God I hope we pull this off. 6 points from the next 2 games could get us home

Imperative we pick up 2 wins in our next 2. Got to hope Arsenal don't slip up against the Mackems tomorrow as well. They then play Stoke away and Chelsea at home, if they lose all 3 and we win our next 2, I think we're a good chance to stay up!

2 points from City and Liverpool are amazing results though - especially when you consider how City and Liverpool have been dismantling teams of late.
