Sissoko is such a mug. Honestly what a POS!

Nothing against Spurs but I hope he flops. Mercenary grub! Can't believe he says his efforts to leave the club 'drained him' - bloke had a 12 month holiday and did two lots of nothing for the whole season.

Better off without the flog.

"And Sissoko has described how “psychologically” the uncertainty over whether he would get his wish to leave St James’ Park sapped away his energy.

However, he has thanked God for ensuring he did secure a move to a Champions League club.

“I went on holiday and everyone knew that I wanted to leave Newcastle to go to a more ambitious club that plays in the Champions League and at the top of the table,” he added.

“God thank you, I signed with Tottenham.

“I would have liked it to be resolved sooner.

“I could rest a little anyway, but psychologically, it took my energy.

“Arriving late in the transfer window, it’s not the same, even if I had the chance to be welcomed and everything went well.”

I picked up the new FIFA a couple of days back - our squad is pretty darn good for the Championship. 4 stars (out of 5) I think.

Quite a few over 75 player ratings too - Mitro, Shelvey, Ritchie, Jesus (surprised me as he hasn't played much), Clark, Mbemba, Atsu and Sels (again a bit of a surprise - maybe he is a good keeper but just been a bit shaky adapting to a new country and league? I remember Elliot and even Darlow were questionable early on).

Haha cool. Haven't decided if I'm going to get it myself, haven't really had time to play though. I've had Gamez in FM16 though and he was really good as a wing back. Has he been injured? I thought I read something recently that he had.

I think I edited the FM16 database a few months ago for our championship season - the transfer window hadn't finished though so I probably hadn't added the full squad in but yeah I remember Gamez being a beast haha. Not sure if he's been injured? I know quite a few have had to sit out games because our depth has been so strong. I think I read Murphy pulled out of the Ireland squad due to injury?

Someone put a bullet in his leg.

11 games into my career and I'm on 26 points and top of the table, love the game, an improvement on last year, quite an improvement.

Have you tried out The Journey mode yet? You sign for a PL club but eventually get farmed out on loan to a Championship side.

Needless to say I went to the Toon and scored something like 56 goals on a 6 month loan (playing on semi pro lol). :D

I got it the other day, about 5 points clear on the top of the ladder 17 games in. Sold Colback and Dummett, lol.

Being a Geordie doesn't mean you're fit to play for the club under rob's tenure. :p

Listening to the radio last night, I think we had another one for Perez chalked off for a dubious handball decision.

Either way, great win for us as we have been a bit shaky at home at times. Keeps us on the pace and puts pressure on the other clubs around us.

Oh and something funny I saw - Gayle has 8 goals for the season, Sunderland's entire squad tally is 6 (and they lost again last night) :D

Huddersfield lost 1-0 overnight to Sheff Wed so we are second outright now with a very healthy GD.

Look out Norwich, we coming for ya! :p

Yep good result for us. Barnsley are winless in their last 5 matches. Need to keep that momentum going.

Arma won't be available either pretty sure - though he's only got the 1 goal to date.

Our away form has been quite good, hopefully will continue!

2-0 and top of the league now! Another two goals to Gayle. Killing it

He's really living up to the number 9 shirt! We haven't had a poacher like him in yonks. First player to hit double figures and the division's top scorer to boot. His second goal was a nice one too - just need to give him half a chance and he usually takes it.

Norwich went 2 up so we were lucky Fulham pegged them back.

Villa were 1-0 down but ended up getting a win - maybe the only negative from this morning :p

How good is this pic of Mitro haha - most strikers would be sulking on the bench. Not him! :D

Really is a crazy man! :p
