Its where people fall down in cost calculations, they compare 100kw of gas generation to 100kw of Solar potential best case generation.

It's Mammon not god for that one.I think he considers it more a matter of belief.
God. Tick.
Climate Change . Cross.
Vaccines . Cross.
His issue is that some ( one ) of those subjects requires faith. The others will have consequences whether you believe in it or not.

These boiled Pink River Dolphins are another victim of the war against renewable energy, Amazon lakes temperatures are rising much faster than other waters, in this case they reached 41 C. The world is giving us warnings and we are ignoring them. It's a case of too little, too late and the fact we humans are just too stupid. Look at Gina.

Amazon lakes hit ‘unbearable’ hot-tub temperatures amid mass die-offs of pink river dolphins – study
Droughts and heatwaves causing water in some areas to reach 41C, killing fish and endangered dolphins, say researcherswww.theguardian.com
1GHW of home batteries installed already since July 1. Wow… no wonder Gina and the Nationals are angry.
Wholes sale prices dropping…. Yet the LNP wants to start another energy debate…. LMFAO.

Australian wholesale electricity prices are falling. So when will power bills stop rising?
The cost of generating power is definitely getting cheaper but the savings may take time to flow throughwww.theguardian.com
Yer and they’ve risen for the decade before q1 and q2….. what’s your point? What’s causing this latest drop in wholesale prices?Q1 and Q2 prices were higher in 2025 than 2024.
Not like you to cherry pick a point in time so you can celebrate another nail in the fossil fuel coffin.

Is it more reliance on Fossil fuels or is renewables causing the drop?
Can’t wait to the hear the answer ….
Tassie could be a lot cheaper, we just match mainland prices, dividend from power helps out state budget out.Tassie have the highest prices and the most renewables.

We also export a lot of their power to mainland to maximise $$ as "Green energy" and make homeowners use dirty coal instead, optics.
Solar uptake insn't bad, but basically get nil for exporting to the grid and some suburbs put a limit on the KW system you intend on using, depending how much solar is already in the suburb. And winter time, you are not generating a lot in Tassie.
S.A. and Tassie have the highest prices and the most renewables.
Victoria have been eschewing gas in favour of coal, which is probably whey their CO2 factor didn't improve last year.

SA is the worst state to be on Amber electric and play the wholesale market because They rarely get massive spikes… the days are full of negative feedback in tariffs.
Their prices are high not because of generation costs.
Capital costs are costs too.

All these countries except Iceland generate huge amounts of hydro electric electricity, 90%+ of their needs. Iceland generate large amounts of hydroelectric and quite a lot of geothermal.
