One of my lazy af, dumb as dogshit cousins has spent his whole life obsessing about what he's gonna get from his hardworking old man's will/estate.

Would absolutely love it if he gave an unexpectedly large chunk of it to his beloved Seven Day Adventist church and his new wife, it's what the greedy twit deserves.
Wonder if I know them?

"Baby on board" signs

What is it with these? Do people put these on their cars in the hope it reduces the chance of someone running into you? If so, this doesn't make sense because the only time someone is going to run up your arse is if they're not paying attention so therefore they wouldn't have seen your sign anyway.

Which leaves the only other explanation i can think of which is that people just want to tell everyone that they have a baby....

There's a tragically large amount of people for whom having unprotected sex is their greatest achievement in life. They're easily spotted, baby on board or my family stickers are good indicators, anyone who starts a sentence with "as a parent" is also likely to fall into this category.

They don't work as people put it up and leave it there for a year or... however long it takes to stop being a baby. They don't take it down when there's no baby in the car.

Also people aren't intentionally going to hit your car otherwise.

In fairness fleecing money from new, inexperienced parents is a big, **** off industry.

If The Simpsons did Baby on Board today, Homer would laugh as Maggie soars through the windshield then Ed Sheeran would use magic powers to bring her back to life. JackOutback would rate it 5 stars.

I encourage my nana to spend every cent she has. She had a shit life until her husband died and now she finally has some freedom. Also one of my aunties is a massive campaigner and if there are any assets left I shudder to think how messy it will get.

I had grandparents on one side that were relatively well off for the era (not wealthy but owned their own home in retirement, had some savings/super - and we're talking mid 1980s here) that died fairly young so anything they did have was a waste and just ended up going to the next generation (all boomers) who didn't really need it. And on the other side I had grandparents who never owned their own home, had no superannuation and little savings and were living off the pension into their 80s. All were generous with their time and what money they did have.

From my perspective having seen elderly family members with life left in the legs but little money to go out and do stuff, money in the bank but already in the ground in their 60s, money in the bank but in a nursing home, stuck in aged care due to simply being too old to be self sufficient etc. I strongly encourage the next generation to do as much as they can as early as they can. Travel, spend money, don't put things off until you are 70 when there's a chance you'll be dead or in a nursing home suffering from dementia. There is nothing to be gained by accumulating wealth to just pass on to the next generation at the expense of your own enjoyment. Plus all you die with 5 investment properties all you have done is make it harder for your kids to get a foot in the door when they are 20 or 30 to then just give them free houses when they are 40 or 50.

Good for emergency services perhaps if accident?!
