Grant Stevens replacing Ricuttio on the Crows board has to be the most Adelaide thing that happens here this year.
He’s a really great bloke but now he’s just another crows flog, very disappointed

Seen a car completely covered in Christmas lights. I have no idea what the point of that is.

What we're going to do is put a state of the art stereo sound system in your car with massive speakers, we're going to put one of those crazy horns that plays La Cucaracha when you push the button. And finally we're going to put crazy Christmas lights around the car's body!

Would that even be legal?

No idea but I wouldn't have thought so. It was daytime so the lights were off but I wouldn't have thought it would be legal to drive at night with them all lit up.

Probably should be in an alternate thread but I feel so weird, now trying to equate things to $$ value in usage.

I just plonked down $144.01 for the "top" tier on the Playstation Network. It's an easy choice considering how much use I get out of it (and it's better than paying the standard $215 per year).

Funny thing is I have subscribed (more on than off) to the Xbox Live service over the last 19 years.... But I currently have not subscribed since April of this year... I could/should use my pre-purchased codes that I have collected many years ago.... but they would be months worth of value now instead of years. And I lack motivation to do it lol

Nintendo Switch, I'd like to subscribe again, but haven't done so since it ran out months ago.

I've been eying off a new tv thanks to the Black Friday deals going around. The tv I want is under $2000.......

My current 4K tv is 6 years old, at the price I paid for it.... I've basically had $99 of value per each year of ownership. And it was $1500ish cheaper than the original RRP... So I considered that good value. For the tv that has my interest to do the same.... it would basically be $327 of value.... with the added risk (being an OLED) breaking down unexpectedly.... thus having the money spent, be a waste.

The pc I purchased in August, I need to get more than 4 years of use out of it before the $ value per year of use drops below $1000. I'd like to hope that it's possible (seeing as my last pc is 13 years old and still works from a motherboard/psu perspective). I'd be up against it though considering this new pc is SFF in design and thus the power supply might not last the distance :=/.

Sounds like you need a bigger cabinet to put all ya games ans blu ray discs.

I don't understand how no one was able to sit James Cameron down and say 'mate, 197 minutes for a movie that is basically a retread of short children's stories is taking the piss'. I get that he's been successful, but man, you don't want to go into a movie feeling like you doing a chore.

i was blown away by Avatar in IMAX but also walked out with a splitting headache from that long with 3D visuals

i think i've watched the original once since and never seen the second one at all even though i could just stream it at home no problem

everything ive seen via previews says the visuals are amazing and at home you can certainly pause or watch it over multiple viewings

but i just kinda....... don't care

Dr Suess window said after Mile Myers butchered the cat and the hat no more Dr Suess movies for you.

First real hot 🔥 summers day and seen quiet a few pasty white bodies down the ⛱️ beach. I smell a few sun burns coming on.
Sniffing sunbathers is a good way to get arrested.

I have the first on bluray, purchased it not long after the original release (it dropped in price pretty quick)

I didn't watch the movie AT ALL until a few years ago, and it wasn't my bluray copy lol. Happened to see it on tv and yeah! But I watched it on bluray not long after that and the visuals on tv were like a smudged painting, the bluray was Top notch.

I saw the sequel on tv this past week and it looked even better on tv vs the first movie. Even more so because it was on GO! (which is a low bit rate channel). Would love to see the bluray version probably sex on legs amazing.
