I don’t much like reunions and catching up with people I haven’t seen for many years. It’s a shock to see them much older and know the same has happened to me!

My high school boyfriend didn't make it ten years out of school. He oded just before Christmas '99, I was overseas at the time, we'd lost touch and I still wonder if could have done more.

I feel like we often lament those missed opportunities.

We can't retrieve or revive them but we can talk about those like they're still here.

That's the way it usually turns out. I sometimes despair at some of the opinions I hear these days from younger people but I know they will change one day. It's happened to all of us.

Started high school (Freshman year) 60 years ago this year. I went to a Catholic boys' academy my first year. The next year we joined with our sister school next door under a new name. If I remember correctly, the tuition was $340 a year, quite a sum for a working class family with five kids. I'm the only one who went to the Catholic academy. My siblings were all "publics".

Wondering who they were and what suburban obscurity would they be in I was surprised to see it was The Blakeney Twins
