No, they're both for me. I have two other tickets for my parents for the show in which I have a GA ticket, and a spare ticket which would have been mine had I not got a GA ticket. The spare ticket will be going to the "lovely lad", you mentioned, who is in fact a girl. lol
Ah yes I see my typo. I meant "Lady of course"
I was in no way insinuating that you are a homosexual

Didn't think that.

Bring on March motherfvckers! Going to be the best week of my life, nothing else will matter after that.

Soundwave announcement is right up there for me.
Hearing my two year old laugh while he is making up some game I don't know the rules to or point of.
Watching a good spell of fast bowling with late swing going both ways (love watch Steyn)
Marinated chicken nibbles, braised meats & pretty anything done on my Weber
Every time I fill up with $95 fuel and use my employer's fuel card, especially joyful when cruising around WA's southwest on holiday

Hitting people with bouncers.
I never could perfect a bouncer and now I've lost too much pace to even bother trying :( Although had a few mates who could do bouncers mostly by accident, always wore a helmet if there was one and bought an arm guard after blocking a shoulder height one with my forearm. However as someone who doesn't wear a box I think I've given more than enough bowlers a "things that please me" moment..

If you practice hooks and pulls enough, bouncers are a batsman's delight at most levels. Compared to their regular deliveries most bowlers can't bowl bouncers for shit, they just rely on batsmen being too tentative to play them aggressively.

I was a rubbish batsman but I drilled the crap out of my cross-bat shots and got most of my runs from them. Got hit a shitload, but who cares - all the vital bits have armour over them.

You see I'm a half decent slogger but when you're also playing casually with scrub bowlers the bouncers get you more off guard because it's usually caught them by suprise as well. But I also wear a really weird assortment of pads, wear junior leg pads (not short just like the better mobility) arm guard, gloves and helmet only if I know i'll be facing faster bowlers. Kind of disappointing I finally got a decent bat and all my mates moved away and I'm not keen on entering a tight knit team and being the awkward outsider. I used to favor the cross bat shot however after copping a few balls in the chest or arm and realising it just results in a few big shots then being caught I forced myself to learn to drive, cut and block better. Mainly since I used to step across too much to smash everything to the leg side.

Why would you choose not to wear a box? I admire your balls (pun intended), but getting hit in the nads with one of those plastic cricket balls playing in the backyard hurts enough. I'd rather invest $20 in protection than have my testicles mashed.

Actually own one, just found it uncomfortable. After I got hit by a fast ball I got bought a pair of the box briefs but still found it annoying. Amused people that I wore an armgaurd but not a box but meh I care more about my arm than my balls I guess. Will say though getting hit with a real cricket ball sucks, one of the worst was actually a spinner, fast bowlers tend to hit it more from the front or get deflected off a thigh etc. Went to sweep a spinner and missed and it got me on the upward from underneath, actually bad enough to cause you to puke. Most embarrassing though is if you edge it into your own groin...

I don't play cricket any more, but a box was always the first bit of protection I would put on. Would rather bat without a helmet than without a box.

I've often batted without either... I prefer to think batting without the protection gives me added incentive to not get hit. However I only bat without a helmet if I'm at the nets with people who can only bowl spin or are slow pace. Everyone is different I guess myself I'd rather the extra mobility and comfort over a reduction in pain should i get hit in the groin, never worn a thigh pad either. End of the day even with a box on you just transfer the impact onto the inner thigh so it still hurts a fair bit, if it comes loose you can also be unfortunate enough to have part of it slip under the edge of the box.

Never worn a thigh pad, arm guard or helmet. But no box is madness.
As said I never wear a thigh pad, helmet is situational, arm guard is usually my 2nd piece of equipment on and never bat without it. Really by comparison a hit to the balls hurts less than a hit to the forearm or elbow from experience.

I find nothing restricts movement like a thigh pad. Horrid things.

Yeah I can't even stand wearing full size adults pads so can't imagine how restricting a thigh pad is. On the upside my hands are small enough to wear youth gloves too so i save a fair bit on gear prices!

Forgetting to cook rice along with my curry for dinner.. having to resort to eat it with leftover mashed potato and discovering an epic combination in doing so. :thumbsu: so good! The mashed potato still has that flavour/sauce absorbing power of rice while retaining their smooth delicious texture.

Option 2 was going to be toast..

I've never really found thigh pads to be of great use, they restrict movement and the ability to run well between wickets. Plus, fast deliveries that hit on the thigh don't seem to hurt massively.

If bouncers are bowled at around head height, it really gives a batsman license to hook/pull the delivery away. I'm more of a defensive batsman (not all that good either, usually bat at 7th-8th), but love punishing deliveries between chest and eye level.

Seeing a bad/dangerous driver do a silly move in front of you...not knowing there is a cop car a few back who saw the silly move. Seeing the cop car speed after the guy without cop lights on just tailing the guy. Then when the guy pulls up at the lights, the cop turns left and lets the guy think he got away with it. THen when the guy goes on the green, the cop comes from the other direction with lights on pulling the guy over. EPICALLY ****ING PLEASING!

Don't judge me but Gwen Stefani's music pleases me. Just started listening to her stuff again on youtube and never realised how catchy a lot of her songs are!

Emma Watson. Emma Watson. Emma Watson.

I would sell my entire family to Ugandan warlords if it meant I could have one sniff of her hair and a bag of her toenail clippings.
