No they were up in the mountains.
I'm about 40 klicks west of there but i had ash in my yard.

I went out yesterday and from where i was i could see the smoke rising from the mountains , get blown over to the " sydney Basin " and sit there.
Was truly spooky

When you say mountains is that the blue mountains area?

Pretty safe where i am.....that being said , there was a massive fire in a carpark at Homebush last weekend....and if you know Homebush , it's basically one giant concrete slab.

The scariest part is that it's only mid-october
Sadly i fear Sydney's gonna burn this summer.

She was probably just doing her job..frustrating though it might seem. Plus depression isn't something you can 'see' in someone, especially a complete stranger

I legitimately hate that I work in the Docklands where any decent weather is ruined by insane wind. There are a few nice grassy parks to chill at too.
