But they are selling an IDENTICAL item for significantly more.

If they don't want my money I won't give it to them, it's as simple as that.

Plenty of places sell identical items at a 50% markup. Sometimes worse items at a 50% markup. For instance yesterday I had a Carlton Draught at the Watson's Bay which cost $7.20. An exact 50% markup on the $4.80 Hahn Super Dry's I had later in the evening. I imagine a super dry in the watsons bay would be up around $8.00.

Went to buy this lamp at Bunnings today.

They had it in ******* purple and pink. What a joke. The display model was grey, which is what I wanted, but they couldn't give it to me cos they didn't have the globe. Went and looked at Big W and Harvey Norman. SFA there.

Come home and jump on ebay and find this

It is IDENTICAL bar the brand. First is Brilliant and this one Oriel.

So I send a message to them saying

"This is $34 at Bunnings.

I will buy it for that price if you're willing to sell."

They reply with

"Hi

Thank you for your enquiry.

Bunnings does not stock Oriel products, so the product you saw there is may be similar but is not of the same quality.

We offer customers the convenience of not having to leave their homes to do their shopping, and in today's environment where time is valuable to consumers our prices are actually cheaper than Bunnings when you consider the fact we deliver for free to your door. As such, we do not price match with physical stores.
