Things to do in Melbourne

Hi guys,

I'm visiting Melbourne for 4 days next week (Thurs-Sun) to attend North v Richmond, at the moment we have one free day (Friday) so we would like to know some things to see or do in Melbourne on a Friday during the day.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be great. At the moment we're looking at doing an old Melboune Gaol tour but thats about it.

Thanks in advance:thumbsu:

There is an awesome Underbelly tour you can take. If you are interested in the Melbourne Gaol you will love it - it also includes the gaol. It's also a great way to get out and see a bit of Melbourne. Have done it twice now and love it!

Also, Victoria Park.

MCG Tour goes alright too.

Edit: MCG covered already. The others were not...maybe Vic Park first ;)

Eureka Tower, MCG Tour, Yarra Cruise, Shrine of Rememberance, St.Kilda

To be honest, Melbourne is a better city to live in than it is to visit.

Well it must be pretty ****ing good living there! I love visiting, it's like another world compared to Sleepy Hollow

Go to Federation Square. Even if you don't like it, at least you can say you've seen it. The Potter Gallery of Australian Art there is a space well-worth spending a couple of hours wandering around.
