I've been most years. I'd agree the price of beer & food is a joke. I don't fit your stereotype for your typical BDO'er, I go coz I'm poor and get to see a wide range of bands without having to shell out to see them individually.

Bands you've never heard of before? Majority of bands on the bill are on commercial radio and receiving heaps of airplay.

Festivals like BDO are crap IMO unless they have a killer line up. No point going to see only a few bands. Going to see a band you like headlining their own shows is the best way to go. I hate the shirtless Aussie Flag wearers who go there and have only heard of one band and who just go there to get off there face via alcohol or drugs or both.

Am I a dirty druggy because I have dreads? Can I assume that because you like rap you're a bling wearing homeboy wannabe tosser? If people want to enjoy the BDO, who the fuqk are you to tell them they're wrong.
