Howdy fellow pies supporters....

Is it possible for all the people starting stupid threads on the main board asking questions like "are our forwards the best?", "Are Collingwood going to win the flag" to stop!??

Surely, by now you realise that you are not going to get a mature response from MOST people on here as everyone hates Collingwood D).

So why bother posting it as all it looks like is that we overrate our players and think that we have already won the flag.

Now I agree that we can and SHOULD celebrate after two cracking wins but the premiership is not won in May/June and we should take the lead of the club and keep a lid on it!!!

It would make it even sweeter if we happened to take it out come September.

I generally don't use the main board because I like intelligent football conversation and many Carlton supporters frequent the main board which makes that hard, but I read it every now and then and get quite a laugh out of it.

Nothing wrong with supporting your club even to the point of annoying the shit out of everyone else.

I started reading one of the threads you speak of, I got to the 4th post bagging us and was about to say something that would have gotten me banned. ____ing inbred Geelong hick pissing me off, deserves to play on the west gate the immature w***er. Yes I do realise i'm being immature in this post but at least it's on our board. Everyone hates us, and will dig in at any opportunity. Frustrating to see, so I don't use the main board very often anymore.

I can't get over that fact that he had the nerve to call Collingwood supporters arrogant w***ers, we beat them by 86 points and he goes on about how shit we are and how good the cats are. The fact that he thinks any Geelong fan can call anyone arrogant is beyond pathetic.

It is very early days & YES we have looked super impressive last fortnight, BUT it is only June and we have a long way to go.

So, yes ,PLEASE, can we just keep racking up the wins and keep all the hype to a minimum. If the opposition fans want to talk us up, all well and good

The main board and Bay 13 is simply flooded with Hawthorn supporters talking themselves up.
This immediately attracts he least desirable posters from opposition clubs and any topic then turns into a "dick measuring contest" between the smallest of minds.

I saw that and had a look for his lastest posts, the first post in this thread was his latest.... appart from the one that got him red carded. Reading some of the stuff Collingwood supporters are posting around the place is disgraceful though.

Yep i think a lot has to do with our attitude in most games.
Don't know if anyone read the article maxwell wrote the other day?
He spoke about the geelong and west coast wins,and purley said that we were switched on,and our attitude was way up.This is the key ingredient to success,and this is how we must play througout the season,leading into a very strong finals campaign.
He did also stress that when a few senior players are not too switched on during game day,this does effect the way the whole team plays,and at times does let us down.
The pies must keep playing that high pressure mauling,tackling game.if they keep playing that way we will most games ,which will in turn give us a top 4 possie and then a strong chance of challenging for that elusive
flag.Take no prisoners and be ruthless.
