By the way, IF I wear a tie for work, it is a uniform, so it is top button undone and an elastic neck thing.

Otherwise, full windsor.

By the way, ties originally were worn as a napkin or bib at really posh victorian or earlier dinner parties.

Agree, ties are pointless, unless you count it as a "status" symbol .... wearing one each day shits me to tears ... but so are do heaps of things, just another part of the ridiculousness of life.

Same here. Don't wear ties often currently though.

I don't think I've ever found a shirt that I can do the top button up, unless the shirt itself is a couple size too big and I hate anything feeling tight around my neck.

I have worn a tie probably four or five times, and I hate them. Don't blame people for not having a top shirt button done up or a tie tied tight.
