Ever listened to Adelade radio? On MMM melbourne they were bagging whichever Adelade radio station was in the next commentary box from them because their barracking was so loud they could hear it from the next box. However, in saying that Tim Watson shits me and not because of bias because no one on c 7 is worth listening to

Adelaide radio commentators are biased only because they are commentating to only the Adelaide audiance numb nuts, whereas ch7 are supposed to be a national commentary team.

No difference to Eddie though.

I can't believe Channel 7 got the AFL coverage back, it's like the days of Sandy Roberts, Peter McKenna and Drew Morphett. Channel 9, 10 and Fox do a better job.

Yep...former players shouldnt be able to commentate against thier old side if they cant keep thier allegiances (sp?) to themselves.

I dont mean to sound like a sour and bitter loser.. but right from the first quarter did anyone else pick up on this gooses blatant bias and support for essendon.. he wasnt commentating at all he was clearly barracking.

There were countless instances throughout the game where he made grunting noises whenever essendon did something good or when an umpire made a questionable decision. He also very rarely referred to the crows and it was either essendon doing something good or no comment at all. This is all IMO so i was just wondering did anyone else feel the same way or am i just paranoid and imagining things

I dont know what was worse, timmy or the umpire's, you got the sheedy screw in that game, get the feeling everyone wants essendon to win including the umps.i'm glad we dont play them again in melbourne this year

You are all missing the point here. 5AA is targeted for one audience only and that's an Adelaide audience. TV is a NATIONAL broadcast and hence there should be no bias at all. Look at the English Premier League coverage, the TV commentators there are not biased as it goes world wide but listen to the Man United radio commentaty and it is completely different as it is only targeting one audience. TV coverage in this country of not only AFL but a lot of other sports is unprofessional rubbish most of the time.

I just wish Rowey would shut the hell up. He's become a poor immitation of Rex Hunt. A goofy nick name for everyone, a ridiculous over dramatisation of every movement, screeming every word, most of it just nonsense and dribble. It drives me up the bloody wall. I cant and wont listen to it. Hope they flick him.

Seriously that best SA footy commentator I recall listening to was Ian Day.
