Fall Out Boy

Guest
In: Callan, Gardiner, Chambers

Out: Kelly, Haynes, Rahilly

Hope i got those changes correct, and if so, congratulations to Timmy.

Very weird changes there

Would have liked to have seen Dessie get another game, but he has struggled the past two weeks.

Interesting changes though. Chambers inclusion to partner the very disappointing captain signals to me that Moons will possibly play up forward or even down back. Regardless, he won't be spending much time on the ball.

Timmy deserves his spot and Charlie, who has been in very good form has obviously come in for Haynes.

I'm pleased to see Rahilly get the arse.

I watched the Brisbane game again today, and Haynes was the bloke that kept us in it, in the first quarter.

He led hard, kept the ball in, and worked well with those running past.

Disappointed he has been left out, however i believe he will end up playing, be it at the expense of Chambers or King.

Hopefully that last his last chance.

The move to put Chambers in didn't really surprise me. He has been decent in the VFL for the past few weeks and we'll need Moons down back as the third tall to help cover Fraser. I think we'll be looking at Scarlett/Tarrant, Harley/Fraser, Mooney/Rocca or perhaps Graham/Rocca if Chambers isn't performing and we choose to move King to the forward line, leaving Gumby to ruck around the grounds.

Surprised they've kept Mackie in, yet on another note congratulations to Timmy on his long awaited second coming :)

You're preaching to the converted. Unfortunately nobody remembered the hard work he did against Brissy or the clever work he has done all year.

King? Is he injured, because there's no way they'd demote him to the VFL.

Has Haynes been omitted or is he injured, did have a back problem a few weeks ago. Although he will be missed Charlie Gardiner in my view plays a very similar game to him, so it wont affect our structure too much.

I'd say Chambers is in as Bomber is looking to play King predominatey as a forward to stretch the Collingwood defence.

It would seem to be the perfect idea to play king forward so he could both stretch the Collingwood defence and gain a bit of match fitness. Having said this it never seems to happen. I'd love to see Kingy play in the goal square with just ablett or chapman at his feet.

It's pretty obvious that he isn't right at the minute.

You said 'he has struggled in the past two weeks', hence my comments about the Brisbane game.

Exactly. Even though they have Maxwell, Presti, Wakelin and Clement who can play tall, u put Mooney who will possibly be 3rd tall on him and see how he goes, itd be a big ask for a player with less than 10 games. even a Steve Johnson who is a quality player, yet underdone will be a handful. With King against Presti? (good player, but not strong enough for King, in a 1-1 in the goal square) if we just are bomb happy he might snag a few for us. And with the likes of ablett johnson and chappy at his feet......ill believe it when i see it though

P.S No 3rd man heroics from All Australian certainty Cloke either :P

no doubt their will be the usual late change. Emergencies are H, Spriggs and Koula.

Can't see H getting a game. It must be 4 weeks since he last played in match, including the twos.

Spriggs or Koula must be fairly even money, unless they go outside and put Haynes back in the team.

I think Tony Shaw thought he was our best player in the first half of that game.

It's good to see Tim Callan finally get a game this year. Now hopefully he's not left on the bench all night.

OK, fair enough. What I meant was stats-wise he had a quiet game. But the hard work he did didn't go unnoticed. Unfortunately those one-percenters don't often get you a game these days.

BIG mistake dropping Haynes.

I truly hope he is this week's surprise late inclusion.

Can't happen. The 3 emergencies this week are Spriggs, Koula, and H.

Will it be shown live 2nite?

Haynes is a creative player coming out of the side. I will be watching young Callan closely. Hope he goes alright.

Timmy Callan had a BIG last quarter. He snared a goal and set up another. It was good to see him give it everything after his inexperience gave Tarrant a freak goal in the 3rd. Well done Callan!
