People are making posts that he is sulking about not getting to the Swans - But I'm saying, he won't be. He won't actually care where he plays. and for the post above, he was only ever trying to justify his move.

I think he will care. He wants the $$$$ AND a flag. Could have both here? More likely and possibly earlier than at GWS. He will be deeply disappointed, make no mistake.

I know, think i had post 8000 to my name, been tracking it on and off....

i'd say 5000-15000 more bold and the beautiful, due to the sheer size and repetitiveness it has reached days of our live proportion.

1) he will get over it
2) he will makes mates at GWS
3) he will still have mates at the Adelaide Crows
4) He will get over his disappointment
5) the only ones who actually care as fans - not the Crows players, not the Swans players and not Kurt Tippett.
6) They know the industry - hence why some are still very good mates with Phil Davis, Jack Gunston and now Kurt Tippett.
7) time to build a bridge and get over it and look forward to the players on our list and the crack at the 2013 flag.

If you dont like it then fine move along. Dont tell me what I can and cant post or who and what I can respond to.

If there is any truth to that report of the AFL offering Tippett a reduced penalty for going quietly to the draft, I wonder if their thinking goes along these lines;

Technically speaking as it stands, Tippett has conspired to tamper with the draft process, but has not actually completed the deed. Is it possible the AFL are saying that right now will we only penalise for conspiracy, and if you now cease trying to circumvent the draft process and go quietly to whoever chooses you (likely GWS), its only the lesser penalty which applies. However if you continue to stonewall GWS, or any other team, and try to get through to Sydney then we will have you for draft tampering and apply a much more serious penalty.

Would that clear the AFL to effectively force him to GWS?

That has to be bullshit, that kind of deal would leave the AFL and Dimwitrou with absolutelely zero credibility, the word "corrupt" would not look out of place even.

Lets hope they put it down in writing.....say in an email....Bah! Who would be so stupid?

the AFL is Vlad's plaything - he has penalised all of us by giving our players to his BS expansion clubs so they can win flags

Cornesy and Rowey can't be right in what they say, because that is blatantly tampering with the draft. Just can't be done.

However, what might have been said to Kurt is that any attempt to resist talking to any team or any negativity to any team approaching him prior to the PSD would be seen as further attempts to tamper with the draft by him. That would mean that he would have to put himself on the open market, without trying to limit his future to Sydney.

Putting that in reverse, that means if he co-operated with all teams that approached him prior to the PSD then any charges against him, if any, would then be limited to his past transactions with Adelaide.

I'm not saying that has actually happened, but if there is some basis in fact behind Cornesy and Rowey's statements then it could only be along these lines IMO.
